Great hotel
Unfortunately, the rooms are difficult to reach with a stroller as there is no elevator.
Breakfast at Wagreinerhof very good!
Staff super friendly both at reception and restaurant!
On request we were even allowed to stay a little longer in the hotel room, at other hotels you have to pay the “late check out”!

Still had a great time!
The breakfast taken in the Hotel Wagrainerhof immediately next door was exceptionally good. We also enjoyed the use of the hotel's swimming pool, sauna and steam room.
The only downside to Haus Hubertus
was the situation of our room on the ground floor, which is where the larger rooms with sofa beds are situated. It faced the front, right onto the main road which runs through the centre of the village. The room has been created out of the former front entrance to the building. You could literally look the people passing by on the pavement right in the eye if you didn't keep the blinds closed. If you opened the window for fresh air, you basically let exhaust fumes in. Also, several times a night, starting at 3:30am, a noisy snow plough with chains would go by, literally 2 metres away from where my son was sleeping on the sofa bed. The vibration and noise woke us most nights, making a good night's sleep difficult. The main bed, which is described as a double bed, is actually an Austrian twin, i.e. 2 single mattresses on 1 base, however it is covered with 1 big sheet. This bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was not very comfortable.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Not sure I'd stay here again, unless I was in a room higher up.
The central location and closeness to the ski bus stop was a great advantage.

Snowboard holiday Jan 2024 with crystal ski
4 of us stayed in a 6 berth but worth the extra money. Plenty of room unlike all French apartments, cleaner daily if wanted, 2 full bathrooms and a kitchen.
Ski room by front door and fabulous heated boot rails. The breakfast at hotel next door was excellent. As was their bar.
About 10 min walk max to gondola or ski bus to other side of resort. spar mins away as were several other restaurants.
No lift to upper floor but that’s only negative. The ski resort is BIG. We have never been to Austria before, and having boarded all over Europe, Canada and USA we wld 100% go back to Austria and this hotel / apartment
fyi the prices up mountain were same if not cheaper than town! France is an utter rip off in comparison. Pint beer €5, basic soup €4/5, burgers €10
