Very nice country guesthouse with beautiful rooms

Very nice, large rooms with a seating area and a nice bathroom. We had quiet rooms in the courtyard. The breakfast offers a very good selection and is plentiful. The food looked very good. We didn't eat in the restaurant, though.

high "surcharges"

My husband and I each wanted to eat a set meal there. The menu card can only be seen online, by the way; the menus cannot be found on the menu. When my husband asked if we could have a meat strudel soup instead of the set meal soup, the waiter (who is also the boss) said that there would be an extra charge for it. In principle, that was fine with us. But the surprise came afterwards: €0.30 was deducted from the price of the menu, but €4.80 was charged for each of the meat strudel soups, making a total of €9.60. In other restaurants, you pay around €1 to €2 for a different soup. That's what I understand by a surcharge and not almost the full price.
I have no idea how this restaurant/hotel otherwise operates. This behavior is certainly not customer-friendly. The boss/waiter should have informed us about this high "surcharge". I hope for other guests that this kind of behavior does not become the norm. In any case, we will not go there again.
If the restaurant doesn't want people to eat menus, then they shouldn't offer menus. There weren't really many people there for lunch (unlike other restaurants in the area), so that doesn't surprise me anymore.

Very good experience

Very tasty food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, everything was great! We were greeted very politely but pleasantly, jokes were made to lighten the atmosphere, the food came quickly and was well made. The drinks were also very good!

Excellent hotel disposing of a gastronomic restaurant and a friendly service

The welcoming is very friend in this hotel, situated in a small village near Vienna in the Wine region.
The rooms are large, comfortable and clean, the breakfast is complete and delicious.
The menu is very large , the presentation is original and everything I tasted was delicious
This is certainly one of the best places in the region and I certainly will come again

The best place to dine at in Stetten

We love the fantastic food and service at this unpretentious restaurant. We loved it so much that we had both lunch and dinner there! The fish and meat dishes are excellent. We also stayed at the hotel - spotless & comfortable
