Quiet oasis by the lake with a beautiful spa and pool area.
Finally, a hotel with a 1.20m bed in a single room! Very quiet at the back, I slept wonderfully! The saunas boldly offer a view of the lake and vice versa from the promenade. Absolute dream location right by the lake, the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, but I will definitely opt for half board next time!

Top with minor optimization potential
The hotel is located directly on the lakeside promenade, and only during the day is there some noise from day tourists to expect. In the evenings, it is pleasantly quiet and the view of the lake is magnificent. The associated lakeside bar is great for enjoying the view with a drink or snack. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, even if some are a bit older.
The spa area with the pools, sauna, etc. is very nice and guarantees relaxation. The staff throughout the hotel is friendly and helpful. The service is quick and always attentive. The absolute highlight is the excellent cuisine and the varied food. Flavor-wise and in terms of quality, it is really good and also beautifully presented.
What could still be optimized: Golf carts usable for the golf course, e-bikes suitable for larger individuals, reception not always up to date, coordination in the dining room with table and place settings, billing of drinks, breakfast starting no later than 7:30 AM to allow hikers and bikers to start their tours earlier.
Overall, however, it is a great and recommendable hotel with a good price-performance ratio.

Nice hotel with wellness
There were some wrong with booking through Tui. We had different rooms than we had booked. We had 3 hours of fuss with the owner, hotel was fully booked.
My sister had an 8-hour journey with 2 small children. They needed to sleep. It was not really a nice welcome at the hotel. Where we would stay a week with our family.
In the end the owner did come up with a neat solution and we got a good room and my sister got the room we had where she had a separate room with the children. We had booked this hotel because then we had an extra door for sleeping the children separately.
The hotel was otherwise nice with a beautiful wellness and outdoor pool. The food was also tasty and we had a nice stay.
Make sure you have a good solution for your guests from now on. Without making a discussion of it. We are on holiday together with the family once a year and then we want to have a good time.
Customer is king we have always been taught and we really missed that a bit.
I do want to say that the room we finally got was super nice and beautiful.
And it was very very clean also the sleeping room was perfectly cleaned every day.
That's really worth a compliment.

Fantastic location and comfortable family run hotel.
This is such a friendly hotel which met and exceeded all our holiday needs. I was travelling with a friend and we wanted to Hike, Cycle and swim in the lake and we enjoyed doing all of that with the help and assistance of the reception staff Joanne and Vincent.
The location means you can easily find hikes for any level of fitness and the meals and the views at the hotel are fantastic.
I had visited before and had a room overlooking the Lake which was just fantastic and when arriving this time and finding we had a rear Mountain View room I thought I would be disappointed however when I saw the view I was delighted.

We recently stayed at Hotel Post am See and overall had a nice experience, though there are a few things that could be improved.
What could be better:
1. The Wi-Fi seems a bit outdated and sometimes didn’t work properly. A faster, more reliable connection would make a big difference.
2. We reported a small issue with a lamp in our room, but it wasn’t fixed during our stay. More attention to maintenance requests would really help.
3. We asked to extend our stay by one night, and the reception kindly agreed. However, the room key and restaurant records weren’t updated, which caused some unnecessary confusion.
4. The room design includes a lamp in the hallway that could easily be bumped into in low light. A small design change could prevent this.
5. During the summer, rooms above the outdoor pool can be a bit noisy, so light sleepers might prefer another area.
What we really enjoyed:
1. The restaurant was usually excellent. The food and service were great, and the manager’s presence during busy times really stood out.
2. The cuisine is traditional Austrian, very authentic and well prepared, though guests should be aware it reflects local tastes.
3. The view from the room and the lake is beautiful and creates a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
4. The hotel staff were kind and provided helpful information whenever we asked.
5. The price was quite reasonable for the Familiensuite Design room with half board and offered good value for money.
Overall:
