Incredible experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The accommodations are first class. The view is amazing. The food was delicious.

Nice slots Hotel.

Nice slots hotel with soul and good atmosphere. Good restaurant and hotel perfectly located on the mountain side 140 m above the city. Certainly we will visit the hotel again.

Our stay at Schloss Mittersill was absolutely outstanding, truly one of a kind!
We were greeted with a welcome drink and received a gift when we left.
The castle itself is absolutely stunning and amazing, so much to explore, so beautiful. Around each corner there was something else to discover.
The different cellars, the watch tower, the chapel, the gardens, the lounge, the bar, etc.
The restaurant with different dining rooms, a glass house, panorama terrace, courtyard terrace.
And the food was outstanding!
Then the wellness center with so many different saunas, the outdoor sauna, infrared sauna, sole steam sauna, rest rooms, indoor/outdoor pool, outdoor area, massage...
But the absolute best was the staff. I travel a lot, and for a while also worked in the hospitality business, and this was by far one of the best experiences I ever had, the friendliest, nicest, and most accommodating personnel I have ever met, truly interested and invested, every single one of them! All of them were going out of their way and above and beyond to make our vacation the best ever. They made us feel like royalty in this most amazing castle. They were looking for ways to make any wish come true.
All of us will truly treasure this experience and this vacation for the rest of our lives. And we are considered another trip from the US to Austria with our whole family, when we would definitely plan a stay at Schloss Mittersill again!
We highly recommend Schloss Mittersill.

Rooms with a view

Great place to stay, a castle which has been converted and modernised into a decent hotel with wonderful views of the mountains. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Convenient for the Krimml waterfalls and Zell am See. We've stayed there several times and the only disadvantage is that like most Austrian hotels there's no aircon. We recommend the rooms in the new wing.

We had an amazing stay at Schloßstraße Mittersill and some much needed downtime after three weeks of touring. Our rooms (deluxe balcony) were beautiful, and the views were spectacular. The restaurant was wonderful - we ate breakfast and dinner there every night. As fabulous as the hotel was, what made our stay really special was how well we were taken care of by Csilla and Tanja, They made us feel so welcome.
