Lovely Stay for a Special Occasion

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate a special occasion and found it to be a very pleasant experience. The service and rooms were both comfortable and enjoyable.
We especially enjoyed the pool and sauna, which made our stay even more relaxing.
Both breakfast and dinner were very good, and we also appreciated the wine selection.
We would definitely return to this hotel if we visit the area again.

Wonderful stay

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. However, I cannot overlook the fact that there was no air conditioning in the room, and it was very hot during the afternoon and evening. In addition, the buffet was not particularly appealing and did not match the otherwise high standard of the hotel.

Some improvements would certainly be sensible.

The beautiful outdoor area and a modern wellness area are impressive, while the rest seems rather outdated. The buffet area could be designed to be more appealing; the salad options are limited, and the individual dishes served are good but very heavy; a somewhat more modern and contemporary cuisine would be appropriate.
All in all, a hotel where one can spend a few days.

Winter spa hard to beat

We came to the hotel not to ski but to enjoy a combination of snow, wintery walks and time in a lovely spa and it certainly hit the spot. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and smaller room. Loved the views out on to the ski slopes and cable car - hours of people-watching! The spa is stunning with two distinct areas, an older more traditional area which felt very relaxing and a modern, bright new area with state of the art saunas, steam rooms and studio etc. The amazing long pool stretched out across a frozen lake and was heated to the perfect temperature. The nearby walking was good - enough to keep us interested for our 3 days and being able to use the cable car to do a walk at the top was a bonus.
We enjoyed the food but while it was very good dinner was not outstanding, however the lovely restaurant and friendly service and excellent wine made dinner a very happy part of our day.
It looked perfect for skiers - we watched people ski from outside the door and we hugely enjoyed the weekly 'hut-jumping' where brilliant skiers from a local ski school jumped from a hut onto the roof of the local inn.

If you cannot stay for a week go at least for a long weekend

We absolutely loved our all too short visit. It was evident at every corner that the family was hands on in everyaspect of the hotel. Their presence was felt and seen throughout our business. They are clearly genuine hoteliers
