very good pension, good ski area

Pension small but clean, daily cleaning is done. Double room big enough, there are studios with kitchen, but we did not need. Continental breakfast, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, cereals, and excellent service. Point out, the staff very helpful. Instead ski area is not very big, but I took all star card, so we skiers in Saalbach Hinterglemm, Kitzbuhel etc. If you choose to ski only in Zell am See Kaprun, after two or three days you get bored. For beginners is a good area, where I also skied the first time. But there are far too many interesting ski areas in Austria to come back here every year ...

Average Pension in an excellent ski area

The Pension is small and while quaint, somewhat in need of an upgrade. We have a double room for 2, which unexpectedly, does not have any kitchen facilities. Only the larger rooms have that.
The beds are low quality and unless you have a triple joint in your neck, is impossible to sit up to read a book, watch German only TV or simply....sit up!
Breakfast is continental only ie, sliced cheese, sliced ham, boiled eggs, toast and jam...with cold coffee....
The staff though are friendly and very nice
We have forgiven the Pension for this as the area for skiing must be one of the best in Austria. Excellent ski facilities in the town and the ski runs in "down the road" Zell Am See and "up the road", the 3000 m high Kitzsteinhorn, are out of this world.
Kaprun is a quaint, clean and beautiful little village while Zella Am See, about 5 min drive, is a bit bigger with a Mac Donald's and larger shopping facilities...hence we could buy a kettle to make our coffee, Gluhwein and hot chocolate.
It is impossible to be disappointed with Kaprun/Zella Am See and is a paradise for kiddies, teenagers, yuppies and the older fogies. It is picture perfect with abundant facilities.

Все вполне достойно

Не хватало лифта - после дня катания подниматься на 4 этаж было сложновато. Тихо, тепло, чисто. Душевая была маловата по площади. Наверное, были и по-больше номера, но в этом году уже в середине ноября невозможно было ничего найти
