We had a wonderful stay at JUFA Hotel Stift Gurk. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. What makes this hotel truly special is that it is situated within the grounds of a centuries-old monastery, giving it a unique atmosphere that you simply cannot experience in an ordinary hotel.
The building and its surroundings are fascinating, full of history and charm, making the stay a memorable experience in itself.
The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. Our daughter accidentally left her favorite stuffed bunny behind after we checked out. The team found it, carefully packed it, and sent it all the way to Hungary. It arrived safely, and our daughter was overjoyed to have her bunny back. We are truly grateful for their kindness and outstanding customer service.
If you are looking for a peaceful place with a unique historical atmosphere and genuinely caring people, I can highly recommend this hotel. We would be delighted to stay here again.

Highly recommended.

Very friendly welcome, Ms. Karin always present. Clean, large, quiet room, spacious garden, excellent cuisine with varied dishes. Parking at the building. Gurk Cathedral next door.

Unforgettably beautiful

That was a nice weekend; with the Kärnten Card that you get there, we went on quite a few excursions. In the evening, we sat with cocktails in the monastery garden. Unforgettable, we will be back !!!

Special atmosphere with comfort, historical ambience & Ayurveda

Very nice and atmospheric ambience within the ancient walls of the monastery. A wonderful combination of modern, tasteful and comfortable room blanking, the historic building and the lovingly landscaped gardens. Very, very good (ayurvedic and classic) cuisine. The authentic Indian-ayurvedic spa offer and the associated wellness area also make the hotel a very special place.

Ayurveda Kur

The Ayurveda spa is highly recommended and the whole staff is friendly and there is a good atmosphere! Will definitely go back there.
