Simple stay, good location, friendly host

During a ski trip with colleagues, the Kohler hotel was overbooked (seems to happen quite often) and I was moved to the pension. Not too bad, however for EUR150 per night in the low season one would expect somewhat more. Please be aware that the pension does not provide for an elevator and that the best rooms are on the 3rd floor. Also please be aware that smoking is allowed in the pension and that the smoke is being distributed via the air-handling. The host is extremely friendly and helpful which compensated the disappointments.

Great location

This pension is located directly next to the Spieljochbahn, which is ideal for winter sport! The staff is also really friendly. However, we felt that the price-quality ratio was a bit off, since breakfast was simple and always the same, the beds were not that great and the shower would get the whole badroom wet. Also, smoking is allowed in one of the sitting areas, but you can smell the cigarettes throughout the whole hallway, and sometimes also in the rooms itself

Wonderful People

Simone was the owner/manager who helped us to find great places to hike and directions. She would go out of her way to make us a lunch very impromtu when we arrived in the late afternoon. The dinners we had were a 4 course meal for 12 euros that was delicious. I had the fresh fish with potatoes and soup and ice cream for desert. The rooms were large and clean with very comfortable beds. Ii is off the beaten track, about 12 kilometers south of the toll road, but worth the effort!

Good value

Nice family room with a own "kids room. Very close to the Spieljoch bahn.
Spieljoch bahn is underestimated.

Skiurlaub

Wir waren vom 11.2.23 bis zum 18.2.23 zu Gast in der Pension Kohler. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber wenn auch relativ altertümlich gehalten. Der einzige Nachteil war das im Bad keine Seife gab. Das Frühstück war zwar standardmäßig, trotzdem ist es völlig ausreichend . Ohne Probleme, wurde netter Weise, sogar ein Schnitzel ,als Frühstück, für die Heimreise gebraten. Die Wirtin ist einfach ein Traum. Wir kommen gerne wieder.Viele Grüße Familie Lißke.
