Overall package is great

Nice, very clean rooms. Was even available at short notice. You just have to call directly Very good breakfast with everything you need. Dinner also great and also inexpensive. So overall a great price-performance offer we will definitely come back!

A popular eatery

The accomodation rooms are very small thus it can get tricky to get a good night sleep - air is hard to aircondition in a small room as it gets too hot/cold quickly, a tiny toalet without much of privacy, no storage room etc. But if you in a search of great feast after a long day outdoors, don't go anywhere since you won't find better in Ebensee - price and quality.

Very good food!

It is a family business and the food is great! The guesthouse is aprox. 1 km away from the lake and the center of the small city, is easy to find since there are signs pointing the direction everywhere. There is a parking space and free wifi, the room is common, clean, with a great view towards the mountains. The walls are very thin, you can hear everything happening in the other rooms. The breakfast is great, we ate here three times a days and every time the food was excellent, for a very good price.

Nice place to stay

Choose this place because we had few choices in making reservations a year ahead of time. When we drove I was a little apprehensive due to it size. We were greeted by the owner and he was nice and we could converse in a little English he knew and the little German we know. The bar area and the table area was neat and clean. When we were showed the room I was a little shocked at the size and the bathroom was very small but it was all clean and fresh. We went down to eat and the meal was great, much better than I expected. The wife is the cook and I took a good look into the kitchen and it was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast is included and is your typical breakfast for Austria. The breads, and meats and everything was fresh. The coffee was too, and for the next two mornings when we sat down the coffee and tea was brought promptly with a smile. She spoke little english though but smiles always go a long way. There were several guest with children during our stay and we never heard any of them at night. The area was quiet and all in all my first impressions of the place which were not good changed to being pleasantly surprised. When we paid they accepted credit cards with no additional fees. If you are looking for a nice place for 60E a night this is the place for you. Great owners, quiet, neat and clean and the food is good.

Superb!

Unfortunately, this place is a hike from the railway and sea but well worth the hike. Very clean - hot water - tv - wifi all the comforts of home. We had bad weather so it wasn't suitable for climbing otherwise was a good stay with terrific food.
