I was there for the second time with my family and my dog, and once again it was great, wonderful manager, very good service, and also top-notch cuisine (thanks to the chef). Thank you, it was so lovely to be with you again!

We will be back

One of the many reasons we visited Austria ,was hiking, so we decided to visit Feuerkogel as well as other hiking destinations. First we hiked all the way up until “Europakreuz” , and the view left us speechless.After our return from the hike , we visited this beautiful Berggasthof. We ordered soups for our starter , then traditional Austrian Schnitzel and of course after all this food,desserts. Everything was on point ,as was the service , the owners were very friendly and service was quick. As we were so pleased and wanted to hike again the next day , we asked for a room.We were offered a double room , that was clean and obviously renovated. Also the room from our balcony was breathtaking.Breakfast was very good and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely visit again. Many thanks!

Top-Destination in the mountains

Family-operated business with an excellent menu and selection of Austrian wines at the top of the Feuerkogel cable car. Staff is very friendly. The view is breathtaking and it´s a good starting points for hikes.

Very family friendly hotel on the piste in a very quiet environment. We must keep thi a secret!

Very ideal hotel for families with small children who want to ski in a quiet environment.
Lovely hartwarming personal hospitality with a good chef in the kitchen. Very nice Austrian wines to taste! The owners know the whereabouts.

A fantastic introduction to Austrian Hospitality and Skiing!

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and 6 friends on the recommendation of an Austrian friend and it didn't disappoint. The hotel is in a wonderful location, the views are spectacular. The hotel itself is lovely and run by a fantastic husband and wife partnership who make you feel so welcome. The food is exceptional and if you like a glass of wine with your meal you're in for a treat with an extensive wine list to select from; the owner has a real passion for wine (Austrian in particular), What made this holiday so special was it's location in relation to the ski slopes, you step outside and you're skiing. I am a beginner and it was an ideal place to learn whilst my more qualified friends skied off to the Black runs! If you're looking for a holiday where you want to guarantee excellent accommodation, service, food, drink, views, the list goes on, then this is the holiday destination for you!

This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Please note that the Berggasthof Edelweiss can only be reached via the Feuerkogel Cable Car. The first ascent is at 08:30, the last is at 17:00 (every 30 minutes in between). Please note that the last cable car runs at 17:00. It is not possible to reach or leave the inn after 17:00. An ascent or descent on the hiking trail (no. 820) takes 3 hours and requires sturdy shoes.
