Delicious fresh dishes and friendly service

We came here to eat 3x during our stay at the hotel pension Elisabeth across the street and from the same family. This restaurant is located on the baby slope of the ski resort Diedamskopf so there are mainly families with children and large groups of Dutch people with noisy and busy children. The food here is very tasty and fresh, the wines ditto. Friendly service and friendly staff. Just a pity that we had twice in the evening a lot of trouble from a Dutch family whose children were noisy and busy in the restaurant and threw toys, etc... Once about noon it was a little quieter here. The managers / staff should address the parents of those children because it bothered greatly and the other guests also spend their money here of course. For that reason we visited other restaurants in the area, otherwise we would have visited this restaurant more because the food is delicious and fresh.

Price/performance no longer fits

After such frequent bookings with family here at the Schrannenhof and already earlier year after year with colleagues at the Haus Elisabeth, there is neither a greeting nor a farewell bargain. This is a little something that is common in any other accommodation. Greed has taken over here. Well over 200 euros for an apartment that is dirty and, except for the bed, not particularly well equipped, I see as borderline. We ate dinner every night, except Sunday and Thursday, of course, and always tipped properly. With the children was additionally eaten at lunchtime. For all this money and loyalty, we would have liked a more personal approach.
At some point it will also tip over for you, especially in these snow conditions..

unfriendly

Nice location, cozy environment. Unfortunately very unfriendly rushed staff. We stayed at hotel Elisabeth, where it was really super. We booked the menu at Schrannenhof when booking, nothing wrong with that. But every day when we came in you got the question, and reserved, yes reserved, really crass staff. Waiting about an hour for your food is normal there, too bad , you can't sit down, just stand in a corner somewhere waiting for a table / stool to open up, and if you sat down somewhere you were immediately ordered to clear the place, for whom? Too bad never again!

Monopole position at the lift

Price-wise, taste-wise and also from the friendliness of the service there is a lot of potential.
Obviously, the monopoly position is well known because of the situation.
From my personal point of view, quality of a fritter booth for the price of a restaurants.
