Hotel Vallüla

Located in Sankt Gallenkirch in the Silvretta-Montafon ski area, Hotel Vallüla is just a few minutes walk from the Garfrescha chairlift. Guests are welcome to use the hotel’s spa area free of charge, including sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin. Free Wi-Fi and free parking is available on site. The rooms have wooden furniture, private bathroom, hairdryer and cable TV. Some rooms come with a balcony with mountain views and there is a sun terrace on site. Hotel Vallüla’s restaurant is decorated in a rustic style and serves regional as well as international dishes. Ski and hiking passes can be purchased at the front desk. Ski and hiking boot drying facilities as well as bicycle rental are also available. In good snow conditions the ski slopes can be reached on skis directly from the hotel. The hotel has a ski and hiking bus stop right in front, taking guests to the cable cars of Valisera and Grasjoch. The village centre with restaurants and shops is 900 metres away. A tasteful hotel, nice, spacious rooms with large bathroom, incredibly nice staff, very rich breakfast, very nice location. Highly recommended !
Value for money quite cheap.

Friendly and very well run Hotel

Pros :
Hotel is very clean
Front dining room is beautiful
Staff are very friendly
Location is close to ski lifts (if you have a car) and right next to main road
Use of sauna

Great stay in Montafon

End of August we stayed for a week in half board n Hotel Vallula. Breakfast was abundant, diner always had the choice between two courses, excellent prepared by Daniël, the chef. One night there was a barbeque with a choice of meats. The room was quite nice and altough the hotel is next to the road, it wasn't noisy at all.
Staff was very friendly, after diner Daniël used to come and chat with the guests, as did his wife Rita at breakfast but never in an intuding way.
Once a week Daniël tries to plan a mountain tour and you are free to join him. Apart from that Daniël, Rita and Jacqueline are always ready to advise you on trips and walks.
A must-have is the Montafon Card, which gives you free acces to lifts, busses and trains in the regio. The village center is a 10 minutes walk.
We had a great time.

Clean but no athmosphere

We stayed in this pension for 3 nights. The rooms were clean but it seemed the staff had lost their joy running the place and there was not a nice atmosphere. With always the same "elevator music" playing. Twice I heard people being angry because they were charged for drinks they never had and when we left and checked out we discovered we were charged a lot for tap water! At the cost of 3 Euro for as little as half a litre!!
They never told us the price for their water and as we asked for just tap water in a can when we had our dinners there, we got a big surprise when we checked out. The food was quite salty so our 3 kids were drinking lots of water (they each had soft drink per dinner as well).
Our stay was ok, but we stayed at so many other places in the area that where much better value and with far nicer staff. So I can not recommend this place. We also felt ripped of when we got charged such a ridiculous price for their water. Even on top of the highest mountains we climbed in that area, the restaurants would charge only 1 Euro for half a litre and let you know upfront! Poor service!
When we checked inn they told us we had to pay 5 Euro per phone for Wifi access. Turned out you could only have reception in the lobby of the hotel! :(

Absoluter Preis-Leistungssieger!

Wir haben eine Woche Sommerurlaub mit Halbpension in der Vallüla gebucht. Wir wurden nett empfangen, die Zimmer waren gemütlich und sauber. Der Service war flexibel, wir konnten die Mahlzeiten nach Bedarf auch auf der Sonnenterasse einnehmen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich und das Vier-Gänge-Abendessen abwechslungsreich und ausgesprochen lecker. Die Vallüla ist nicht nur im Winter, sondern auch im Sommer absolut zu empfehlen.
