Wonderful ski holidays

Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms with terrace. Very nice spa and sauna area. Spacious fitness area. Very friendly and helpful staff who will even help a doctor to seek with pick up and bring service

AMAZING!

Four of us stayed at the Alpenrose and it was nothing short of incredible! The staff ensured we were welcomed with genuine warmth that made us feel instantly at home. The hotel perfectly blends traditional Austrian charm with modern comfort, creating a cozy atmosphere.
The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views of the mountains— it’s within walking distance of everything and if you wanted to travel further the bus stop is right there and easy to navigate! The staff were so supportive and made our trip so much better - big shout out to Peter for making me such delicious drinks! The spa was so beautiful and unfortunately I cannot upload the videos I took but it was such a calm atmosphere and smelled amazing too!

Wonderful hotel for the ski holiday in Montafon.

Super nice place, very helpful and friendly staff. Whether at the reception, at the buffet, at the bar or in the spa area. The rooms are pleasant and comfortably furnished but still have a modern touch. I can especially recommend the spa area to anyone who wants to relax after a long day on the slopes and hit the slopes the next day without sore muscles.
In the ski cellar it gets a bit crowded at peak times, but it can also be completely empty again 10-15 minutes later. You need some timing.

Wellness hotel in a perfect location for skiing

We were guests for the first time at the Hotel Alpenrose and at the same time for the first time at the Montafon for skiing. Our stay lasted seven days, and we had an all-round successful and very relaxing holiday.
The hotel has fully convinced us in all areas. Especially the spacious wellness area was a perfect balance after our skiing days. The indoor pool and the hot tub were top and invited you to relax daily. The gym is also very well equipped and also offers a beautiful panoramic view – training with a view included.
The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, and the daily 5-course evening menu was excellent, varied and of a very high standard.
The location of the hotel is ideal for a ski holiday: The bus stop is right outside the door, the town centre is within easy walking distance. We also found the well-organized and easily accessible ski cellar particularly pleasant.
High praise goes to the entire staff – all staff were extremely friendly, helpful and very accommodating. We felt very welcome and completely comfortable from the first moment.
For us it was a perfectly successful holiday, and we will definitely come back.

Overall review of the lovely Aktiv & Spa Hotel Alpenrose in Schruns, Monfaton, Austria - Ski holiday 2026

We went skiing and stayed at this Hotel. The management and staff are all brillaint and cannot do enough for you. The manager even lent me his boots on the first day as mine fell apart! It is a very clean and comfortable place and the rooms and balcony were great. The pool/Jacuzzi/Spa are also really nice.
There is a bus stop both ways right outside te hotel so it is easy getting around. Buses are very frequent.
The food menu was very varied and a lot of it was pretty delicious (I am a fussy eater).
Lots of local people also use the hotel which tells you everything.
It is a short walk from town (10/15 minutes) or just 1 or 2 bus stops.
There is a secure store room for skis etc and a large secure underground garage for cars as well es EV chargers.
An excelleng choice.
