From the moment we entered the room we felt just so comfortable.The room was spotless with great linen,separate lounge chairs which were so comfortable for watching TV.much better than sitting on the end of the bed,which was so good for our 88 year old frames to sleep in.We definately recommend this motel without hesitation.Also surprisingly so quite.

Great budget stay in Warwick

We were looking for a cheap overnight stop and found this motel that was away from the main road. The lady we spoke to was extremely helpful. At a budget price, we were not expecting much but our room was lovely. Small but comfortable and the decor was modern and homey. There was a lot of attention to detail that we didn’t expect, such as water on the bedside tables, bathroom accessories beyond soap, shampoo and shower caps. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was old but huge! It is an older motel so not so pretty from the outside, but we will definitely use this again when we stop in Warwick.

QUIET COMFORT AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

We stayed at the Jackie Howe last night (Mon 27 May) rather than risk an early-morning drive from Tenterfield in thick fog and with lots of kangaroos on the road. The motel is ideally-located a block off the highway so we weren't disturbed by the noise from semi-trailers driving past all night. The queen room was sized right and was spotlessly clean. A comfy bed further ensured a good night's sleep after a beaut hot shower. The on-site restaurant provided an excellent evening meal at a reasonable price. Service from reception was efficient and friendly and the restaurant staff could not be faulted. Will we stay at the Jackie Howe again? YOU BETCHA WE WILL!!!

A must stay for Warwick travellers.

I'm so glad I was booked here. I was talking to Jo on the phone to see if an early check-in was possible as we arrived early. While the rooms weren't available Jo went above an beyond to get them ready as soon as possible (thank you cleaning staff as well). Then, when we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely Leonie. Her bubbly and enthusiastic personality really made us feel welcome and we didn't feel like just another customer. I also had the pleasure of meeting Jo who was equally the same. I think my mood went from 70%-100% thanks to these folks :)
The rooms we stayed in are refurbished and I understand they are focusing hard on completing other rooms to get them up to a "Jo" standard. A fresh lick of paint, modern TV, nice wood look flooring and a bed that has a nice throw on it, these are all things that make it feel homely. The cleaning staff do an amazing job on making sure the rooms are clean and very presentable.
Wifi is great and yes it works. Nice products in the bathroom and a shower that offers rain/standard shower heads.
They offer complimentary bottles of water, milk, hot choc, bickies and can offer cutlery on request. Minimal road noise and I like the rooms don't adjoin with a door. The decor is great and gives a warm modern feel along with comfy chairs and a decent working space.
To put it simply, I would rather stay here than one of the big chains. It's run by hard working staff who I can only assume enjoy their work. These properties can be hard to find and in future, Jackie Howe Motel will be my preference and suggestion to anyone staying in Warwick.

Staying at the Revamped Jackie howe

The motel has recently changed hands and some substantial changes and improvements have been made. Rooms up-dated significantly, niceties in the rooms and new owner terrific. We have stayed there for Morgan Park motorsport many, many times and will be back.
