Great location

Great spot for a beer and food.
Tasty US based burgers and fries. Great selection of wines and beer. Accommodation is being upgraded. Will come back as owner is keen to do ‘ Cars and coffee’ events for auto enthusiasts. Amazing views and location

Nice location between Wineglass Bay and Bay of Fires. OK stay.

Basic accomodation reasonably price and close to Bay of Fires. Lovely location across the road from the beach. Room was OK with fairly comfortable bed (considering all the noise it made) and tea and coffee making facilities and microwave. Parking outside front door was a plus. Food offerings were limited but Aussie burger was very good. Disappointing they didn't open in the morning for even just coffee as the entire place was still closed when we left at 9am. Overall was OK for a one night stay between Wineglass Bay and Bay of Fires.

A lovely motel on the coast

The proprietor was very friendly and helpful in the leadup to our stay. On arrival (late in the afternoon) the bar staff handled the check-in and cooked us some dinner. Food was pretty good, and very reasonably priced.
The rooms are medium sized but obviously newly renovated. The microwave was very helpful so we could cook a bit for ourselves and the kids. The hot water takes quite a while to pump in especially in the chilly morning but just be patient and it'll come. The toilet or drain in our bathroom was smelly the whole stay but the extractor fan mostly fixed this.
Great mattress, lots of bed linen and warm blankets. There's not much nearby in walking distance except the beach, but that stretch of beach was gorgeous and clean.
We stayed for 3 nights, great value for money and nice to be in a quieter part of the coast. Thanks Karen!

Winging it and landed at the Surfside. Very comfortable beds. Close to the beach plus restaurant for lunches and dinner

We were grateful for the last room at the Surfside. Very clean and tidy basic accommodation. Amazing sunrise and lovely surf sound through the night.
We did need to get some more pillows and the night's sleep was great.
While we didn't fit the surfie vibe of this place we did appreciate the room and proximity to St Helens and Scamander.
