Love Stanthorpe
Beautiful, snug, cottage homely and inviting. These cottages on the edge of town have everything you need to make your stay in stanthorpe comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended

Perfect accommodation
Absolutely beautiful little cottage. Clean and well equipped. Wood burner all set up ready to go. Chocolate biscuits and a little decanter of port waiting. Lovely little area for a BBQ and fire pit. Plenty of extra blankets for chilly nights and an electric blanket. Perfect accommodation for our stay in Stanthorpe.

A Delightful Home Away From Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at Briar Rose Cottages, choosing to stay in the lovely ‘Mulberry Cottage’.
Surrounded by a gorgeous garden, we delighted in watching Superb Fairy Wrens flitting around the front and back garden - and even managed to see some Double-barred Finches in the back garden! ☺️
It was lovely to be able to sit on the charming front verandah to enjoy a relaxing cuppa and watch the birds in the garden. The cottage was immaculately clean, cheerfully and tastefully decorated and well-appointed with everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
The mattress in the main bedroom was extremely comfortable, making for a wonderful sleep! The high quality towels are thick and super-soft, which we greatly appreciated. Full size toiletries (shampoo, conditioner), liquid hand soap and cleaning products are also included in the bathroom.
There is air-conditioning and a wood heater in the main living area - and also a portable electric heater in the main bedroom. The main bedroom also includes a bag rack, which is very handy for keeping your luggage off the floor.
The second bedroom has two single beds - with plenty of extra blankets (of varying thicknesses) provided in the cupboards of both bedrooms.
We also greatly appreciated the fully-equipped kitchen, which included an oven and full-size fridge-freezer. There is also a laundry, with washing machine, washing powder, fabric softener, basket, pegs and a drying rack included.
There is a lovely shady outdoor seating area in the back garden of the cottage and a fantastic covered BBQ and fire pit are located at the back of the block, overlooking bushland. Whilst we didn’t utilise either of these, the bushland setting is lovely and relaxing - and would be ideal for an outdoor gathering.
Located on the edge of Stanthorpe, the cottage is in close proximity to the shops - only a few minutes drive from the supermarkets, which is very handy if you intend to cook your own meals. My husband greatly appreciated the complimentary pack of Tim Tams too! ☺️

Cozy retreat in Stanthorpe
Lovely cottage in a good location, close to town. The stars from the deck were amazing and the port & TimTams were a nice touch.

The perfect unwind
We were so over the moon thrilled to stay here. It was so cozy and comfortable, neat and tidy. It suited us perfectly. We just arrived and totally unwound, which was just what the doctor ordered : ). Very decent amount of amenities to enhance your comfort (top of that list- wood fire!)
The hosts, though not on site, nevertheless were very accommodating and helpful.
We highly recommend for a relaxing getaway. But please don't book when we want to : )
