Very clean and modern. Good use of space. Location awesome. Close to shops, pub and racecourse. We were upgraded to our own private bathroom which we appreciated very much.

Great stay nothing wrong with the hotel it was very neat and tidy and comfortable. Unfortunately the walls are extremely thin there and you can hear people whispering.
There was someone there talking from 9pm till 4am completely drunk and I I as a heavy sleeper could hear everyone could. I love the place but not the best for a good nights sleep without noise.

I was in the room nearest the back door to the shared kitchen. That door was right next to my bed and quite noisy at night and early morning. Could it be fitted with a soft close mechanism? It would make it easier to sleep. Thanks.

Great location with good onsite parking. We received a warm welcome and between the room, and the common kitchen and laundry we had everything we needed for a very comfortable long weekend stay

I stayed at Alison Lodge Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was mixed. On my first night, I was placed in a room where I couldn’t sleep until 3:30 a.m. due to constant door banging from other guests. When I approached the South American (or Spanish) receptionist in the morning, I was met with a cold, rude response—she dismissively told me they didn’t have control over other guests. After insisting, I was finally moved to a quieter room, but the receptionist didn’t apologize and remained very arrogant. That being said, Grace, her colleague, was absolutely wonderful—she was warm, welcoming, and genuinely apologized, showing what great customer service should look like. If you stay here, I hope you get to experience Grace’s hospitality, but unfortunately, my first impression was quite negative.
