Great place to stay! Convenient location to where our kids live in Newport, close to plenty of great beaches, and the restaurants and shops in Avalon are only minutes away. The only minor thing is it’s tough to park with larger vehicles due to tight clearances for the hotels parking.

Great weekend stay. Hotel is being beautifully renovated so the 2024/25 reviews of tired looking rooms doesn’t apply anymore. But there may be a little noise int eh morning.
Staff were amazing and they were very accommodating.
You can upgrade the complimentary breakfast to a hot breakfast for $15 pp.
You need parking skills to get around the carpark as it’s very tight especially on level 1. Great location having the Newport Hotel across the road.

Good location and good night's sleep

The renovations are delivering and the Mirage is finally starting to live up to its amazing location.
Room was quiet, clean and a decent size, though the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze.
The shape of the place is weird - a narrow block down the street meaning most rooms look at the street or another building and few get a good look at Pittwater.
But even without paying for a view you can still see Pittwater, just, from your balcony. There’s free parking on site and the Newport across the road for food, beer and great views.

Great stay, exceptional service

Lovely stay for a work conference, room was spacious, modern and very comfortable, beautiful water views of Bayview. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I left my phone charger in my room and the staff got it back to me. All up a great experience.

Superb Location and wonderful event

We recently held a wine dinner for our McLaren Vale winery for 40 guests at the newly renovated hotel - and what a location! It was a fantatsic evening, wonderful staff, great food and brilliant atmosphere. I stayed at the hotel overnight and my room was very comfortable, clean, peaceful and well appointed. We look forward to holding future events at the Silkari Mirage at Newport!
