Well priced if you need to be in the area
We had rooms overlooking the rear, not sure how quiet those overlooking the highway would be, ours were certainly very quiet. Parking costs $25 a night, a bit on the high side I feel given this is not the inner city. Parks are also compact so be careful. However, I think this hotel is popular with groups so even though the hotel was full when we were there, we had no trouble finding a park both nights.
Turn right and walk down the highway for about 12 minutes and you are in a shopping zone with lots of cafes and cheaper style restaurants as well as a supermarket. This is also where St Leonards train station is for all major train connections.

Bed was a bit hard.
Our room faced the main road, and was a bit noisy. We were offered a different room but stayed in ours and got used to the traffic noise. Didn’t stop us sleeping.
The hotel Cafe/Restaurant served excellent breakfasts.
