Great value friendly stay

Great location
I was lucky enough to find street parking after 5:30 so good till 9:00 the next morning
Best welcome to a hotel in ages.
Most just throw you the key and point.
Charlotte Led me to the room and explained the process and bistro times etc.
Other staff were just as friendly and welcoming
the en-suite room was great . Just the right size
no microwave or fridge but kettle and complimentary coffee, tea, biscuits, bottled water
the bistro food is awesome and great value so that’s a plus
Yes it’s a pub, with pokies, so I assume there would be some noise. It was a bit more than I expected with voices just outside/below my window but I still managed sleep. HINT: take earplugs if it bothers you
For the low price I paid it is great value
And if your money conscious like me, (aka tight a***) then download / join pubpass and get discount on meal, drinks.
After cash back Expedia booking rebate ($14) my net total for room, meal, beer was $119 and a drink voucher for my next visit ($15).
Will be back there as often as I need to

Awesome stay

It’s one of the best hotel that I’ve choose. Location is just a minute away from trainstation. Rooms are very clean and tidy. You’ll never find the best hotel like this for the cheap price. Services are really adorable.I would like to recommend this place for everyone.

The room was clean, and the staff was helpful. The desk was too short to function normally, and there was no fridge. Late check-out was given when requested.

Really convenient for public transport, clean rooms and economical rate for somewhere so close to the city.

A bad night

We were welcomed very nicely to the Ritz, and the room, while small, was nicely prepared. But it was a Friday night and we were kept awake until 4:00 am by very loud yelling and chanting downstairs. It was awful! I would have thought some consideration for guests would have been appropriate.
We had to leave early for a drive back to Melbourne - already tired.
