A Hidden Gem We’ll Keep Coming Back To

Ace Hotel Sydney is truly a dream come true. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem.
The location is fantastic—so many of Sydney’s best attractions are within walking distance, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The hotel’s design is stunning, with so much character and a unique story behind every detail.
The staff are exceptional and make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you check in. The food is outstanding, and honestly, it’s the kind of place where you don’t want to leave because everything is just so enjoyable.
We visited with our young children, and they absolutely loved it. They felt just as welcome as we did, and the whole experience was so memorable that we’ve decided to make Ace Hotel our twice-yearly Sydney tradition. We now look forward to returning not just for the city, but for the hotel itself.
Ace Hotel offers something special that is hard to find—style without pretence, genuine hospitality, incredible food, and an atmosphere that makes you feel completely looked after. We can’t wait to come back.

Ace Sydney has an absolute disregard for the basic health and safety of its guests, as well as hospitality standards.

This is the worst Ace Hotel I have ever stayed at. Ace Sydney has an absolute disregard for the basic health and safety of its guests, as well as hospitality standards. Upon checking in late at night, I noticed a strong, sharp paint odor, which I initially thought was from the wooden bed frame. Around 7 AM the next morning, I was awoken by loud drilling noises, and I realized that my room was literally pressed against an active construction site. I could even see workers through the window. The strong odor from the night before was actually toxic construction fumes.
When I requested a room change due to the noise, the front desk insisted I could only move in the afternoon because standard check-in time is in the afternoon. However, shortly after I returned to my room, the front desk called back and stated that if I paid to upgrade my room category, a new room would be available immediately. I was so outraged. Only after I complained about being forced to inhale toxic fumes from the construction site did they magically find me a room by noon without any extra charge.
Additionally, the cleanliness in both rooms was poor. This hotel cares about monetizing your discomfort rather than providing a safe stay. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.

This is such a cool hotel. Small room doesn’t even feel that small. Comfortable and modern. Staff are really friendly. Well priced too. Highly recommend.

A great location + hotel

we stayed in one of the suites at the ace - and we were so sad to leave. felt like home. and the staff were so accomodating the whole stay. Going above and beyond for us. A special shoutout to Susie <3

Incredible hotel. Beautiful room, clean, modern, friendly staff, great bar and restaurant, awesome location
