Tired and neglected motel

This motel would have to be rated as one of our worst we have stayed at. We arrived after a hot day of travelling just after office hours. We only saw one other guest and the appearance of motel looked to be abandoned. We were questioning if we had the right address. The room was dreadful, stains on carpet, walls and sheets! It had an odour, the shower had not been cleaned and had mould on the tiles. There were spider webs & spiders. If it wasn’t so late & we weren’t so tired we would have walked out but we took our chances & stayed. The only positive about this place is where it is situated, there are lovely views looking out over the river. I would not recommend this accomodation unless you are desperate.

It's a dump!

This place is a dump! They are charging $140 for rooms that a worth $60 at best, probably more suitable for hourly rate rooms. Plus they took more from my credit card than the $140 they told me. Don't even consider staying here. They have no organisation, they took my card details over the phone and wrote them down to process the next day, so these unprofessional operators have my credit card details written on a peice of paper!

Just don't stop here , don't book here online , pictures are misleading , information given is not accurate

Booked online even paying extra for an up grade well what a waste of money 15 nights for myself and 2 autistic adult children it advertisers internet , none available so day 3 my daughter went to her father's , no phone , no restaurant or breakfast menu , screen door broken , limited TV , fridge door made a racket everytime you opened it , given a broken toaster so we bought one , no cleaners came to change sheets or bins , hot water was quicker if you boiled a jug , toilet seat smaller than the toilet ? Toilet ceiling looked like on it , woke up to a major police operation 4 doors down even tactical response guys , undercover police and 5 police cars , then 3 days later I guess it was a bus load of men kept us awake with such loud music and drinking until pure exhaustion made us fall asleep around 2am no one came to tell them to stop it , even our view was of large sheds it didn't take long to realise the beautiful property was possibly owned by the same people I can therefore assume that this motel is a tax loss that's how it felt , I mistakenly advised people to give the new owners a chance now I say don't bother ever staying here keep driving

Wouldn't stay again

Totally unacceptable that at 6.45am excavation work began. If I was told on booking in I would have cancelled the booking. I was looking forward to a relaxing restful sleep but that was not the case. I understand that the owners are new but the beds were rock hard, pillows were terrible and the cleaning was only surface cleaning eg no cleaning behind bathroom door. I hope that the new owners are able to improve this motel .

Remote from centre of town

This can be a difficult place to find. It is set on sprawling grounds with the rooms grouped in wings with a fair distance to walk to the restaurant/office. This place would suit fisherman and recreational boaties.
The rooms themselves were ok, a bit dated.
The only other thing to say is to be careful to check the price with one of the internet booking sites because on this occasion I got a very significant discount to what was being quoted directly from the motel.
