One to avoid in Mount Gambier
Thought Accor might have reviewed this place but it just remains sub par. Rooms are poor. Service non-existent. Overall just horrible. Will never return.
As Accor gold - welcome gift was two stale muffins that went straight to bin. Welcome drinks - you can only have coffee, other drinks only if you're having dinner there (not much of a welcome drink is it?) and cannot be taken out in a takeaway cup.

We're so sorry to hear about your underwhelming experience, Ny8wolf, and we appreciate you sharing your feedback. It's allowed us the chance to follow this up with our team, as your experience doesn't reflect the usual ACCOR Gold experience.
Regarding our rooms, while we still have some that are in line for their facelift, all our rooms are reflected accurately in our online booking options to ensure you're familiar with the room ahead of time. For our ACCOR Gold members, we also prioritise upgrades to our Deluxe King rooms [these are fresh, new and reinvigorated], but unfortunately, across the Easter long weekend, we didn't have the availability to do so.
Thank you for the feedback on the muffins - these are housemade and shouldn't be stale, so we appreciate you letting us know. And the welcome drink we've looked into with our team, and sadly, there seems to have been a miscommunication. We unfortunately didn't have take-away juice/cold drink cups at the time of your stay, and you're absolutely more than welcome to enjoy a "welcome" drink outside of dinner service.
We would love the opportunity to make this up to you if you're ever visiting Mount Gambier again, if you'd give us another chance, and we thank you for your feedback.

The room was a good size. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The rug and couch were old and needed cleaning. The restaurant was great. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing.

In need of some work. The hotel is very dated and would need some serious TLC. The rooms are spacious but that’s it, could not really recommend staying there, definitely not the quality of a mantra hotel you would expect.
