What an amazing and cheap way to stay in the heart of the CBD. A full apartment with a beautiful overview of the Queen Victoria Market. It was clean and the check in process was so much easier than I expected. 10/10 will be booking again.

DO NOT STAY HERE - DISGUSTING SERVICE AND PLACE
If I could give this place a zero star I would. My partner and I were looking for an affordable yet nice place to stay for 4 nights - as we needed a kitchen we found City Stays was what we needed, and going off the photos online the place looked lovely.
However, upon arrival it was the complete opposite, it was nothing like the images online. We immediately noticed the stove was disgusting and was smashed, there was also a stain on the couch to which looked like someone had an accident. I don’t even want to ask!
We immediately decided we couldn’t stay here and asked to speak with the management for a refund as we were mislead by the advertising. They stated to give them 5 minutes to speak with management, 20minutes goes by so we book somewhere else (mind you this was at 6:30pm at night and we needed to find somewhere else to stay as we weren’t going to stay here).
They said management would contact us, about 30mins later they call - they said they would not provide a refund as they offered us an alternative?!!!! Seriously? If this was what one of your rooms looked like, why would we stay in another room when this is your standard? DISGUSTING
We requested a refund as we didn’t feel comfortable staying in this place and the refused as they offered us an alternative?!!! We booked through bookings.com and they offered us a little $68 credit?!! Are you kidding me?!

Apartment was great.
Great location.
Easy to get to trams and Woolworths shop on corner.
Bed very uncomfortable.. old and could feel springs.. 4 nights was enough..
Will stay again but hope beds are better.

Annoying this is advertised on a website called HOTELS.com, as this is not a hotel at all. Annoying process for afterhours checkin. The shower was dirty and only body wash provided. Tiny water basin. Annoying noises like a running hose at 7am, woke me up both mornings.
