We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Room was comfortable and we had adjoining rooms with our friends as requested. Great location for the Greengate Hotel where we were attending a function.
The added bonus of having breakfast included was welcome. Breakfast had everything you could possibly want. The morning staff didn't greet anyone sitting down for breakfast nor were we asked our room numbers.
Although the restaurant was a lovely room our dinner was disappointing. I sent back two of our four meals. We ordered two Wagyu steaks which were like leather. I spoke to the chef and he offered to replace our two meals with another choice. I specified a small amount of chili on my pasta but it was still too hot. Our other two meals of chicken schnitzel were overcooked. This needs to improve.
Overall I'd stay again but not eat at the restaurant.

My go-to place in Sydney

Killara Hotel & Suites is my go-to place to stay when I come to Sydney from Port Stephens every 3 months or so for a few days. It's comfortable, convenient, quiet, easy to reach from the north and close to friends and family in Sydney. The restaurant is good for a full buffet breakfast to start your day. Kristin

Hotel was great. We had to leave early morning due to sporting commitments and we asked for a continental breakfast to be supplied. Front desk said that was ok but nothing was left for us in the morning.

Spacious and clean rooms, comfortable king size beds and pleasant linen, airconditioner, fullfilling complementary buffet breakfast, friendly responsive staff.
