Mckenna welcomed me on arrival.
I loved that I got into my room early evening and the heating was on. It was freezing outside so warmth on arrival was lovely. Electric blankets something I didn't expect so it was a welcome bonus. Thank you. I'll be back.

I normally stay only in 4 & 5 Star properties.
Unfortunately I miss placed my trip and needed one more night.
This was the only option.
And I was pleasantly surprised. Extremely good value.
The pub was really friendly and the food was excellent value too.
And the view from the room was exceptional. See my photo

3 bed deluxe room booked for two nights, arrived after 4PM room was not cleaned or made up, told them and given a 1 double bed room which was very small and unclean, shower leaked as door not fitted correctly mouldy seals on fridge mouldy wall near exhaust fan, in general needed a good clean and some repairs, access from the motel to the hotel was by either by a pretty steep stair case or a pretty steep incline which would be unsuitable for frail or disabled people. Staff was nice and friendly definitely would not stay there again. Views were very nice which would have been an excellent bonus if the room was what was advertised and what we paid for. Overall very disappointing.

Despite our arrive just before 4.00pm our room was not ready. It had mostly been serviced but the bathroom had not been completely cleaned. It was nearly a half hour later before we were able to get into our room.
The people were kind but it was not what we expected for the price we were paying.
The restaurant provided good quality pub/club food which we enjoyed.
Despite being on the highway, it was quiet.
Eventhough it is obvious that renovations had been done, a few exterior tiles had fallen off the walls and a couple of exterior electrical conduits were exposed.
The view from the balcony was wonderful both at sunrise and toward sunset.
The room was quite small but nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable.

We stayed in the Deluxe Quad. Deluxe it was not. Tiniest hotel room I've ever stayed in. No room to bring to the suitcase in so each morning or night, one of us had to go to the car to get clothing!
Beds were warm and comfortable.
Kids loved patting the goat visitors.
There is a lot of building/renovations going on and there is a bit of rubbish laying around due to that.
In the pictures on the website, you can see a chain link bridge thing, one thinks that this is on the hotel property. It is not. Apparently it's further down the road somewhere. I asked a staff member where it was and she didn't know. Not very helpful as we were looking forward to it.
Coffee was good. Food was good and reasonably priced. I don't know if we'd stay there again.
