Stunning views, starry nights, and warm hospitality!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The accommodation itself is beautiful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The surrounding vineyard scenery is breathtaking, and looking up at the incredible night sky was a highlight. To top it off, the hosts Anna and Norbert were incredibly nice and made us feel right at home. A perfect getaway!

Charming rural getaway

About a 15 minute drive from the town of Mudgee in a rural farmland setting. Great views across the countryside and tranquility. Olive oil and wine is produced here, very nice. A variety of farm animals to see plus the roaming roos! It’s rural so expect insects, etc. Spacious and comfortable accommodation. Main room included kitchen / dining / lounge area. Nicely equipped kitchen. Aircon in main room but not in bedroom. Wi-Fi worked well. Nicely appointed bathroom, walk in shower, washing machine. Anna and Norbert are super friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Spectacular stay with amazing hosts

We had a spectacular time staying at Grattai Grove!
We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived, thanks to the amazing hospitality of Anna and Norbert. Highly recommend taking them up on a farm tour if you get the chance, to meet all the animals (Leo is the star) and hear about their work on the farm.
We were in awe at the beauty of the landscape at Grattai Grove, and how it transformed throughout the day by the changing light (particularly the sunrises and sunsets). It was a wonderful, tranquil getaway and Elm's Den was a perfect stay with everything we could need (plus more). We were particular fond of listening to the large record collection while relaxing by the fireplace with a glass of wine.
Grattai Grove will forever hold a special place in our hearts ❤️ We will definitely be visiting again.

Ahh the Serenity and a taste of country life

An appropriate distance from town centre to get away from the stresses of a busy life whilst enjoying the serenity of the surrounds. The house was very comfortable and warm in the evenings (even when the fire was not on the house kept a good temperature for the colder nights in May). Lovely views from all aspects of the living area. The verandah was a great place to sit to suck up the sun during the day. The accommodation was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for home cooking, table setting and glasses to enjoy the local wine. Norbert was very attentive checking in on us at the end of each day to ensure we had all we needed. There is an opportunity for wine tasting Grattai Grove wines, you won't be disappointed
