A welcoming retreat

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in the very comfortable Tin Shed. It had everything we needed to self cater for 2 of the nights. We were particularly impressed by the bread, eggs, milk and delicious honey and jam BJ and Gav provided for us on arrival. It was perfectly located for our walks at Munghorn Gap and Goulburn River NP. Highly recommended.

Worth a bit more than 5 stars.

Just 10 minutes from the cbd, in the middle of the vines. Easy access to everything north of town, and that's where most wineries are. A real country farm feel. We stayed (4pax) 3 nights in the the drovers cottage. Yes, winter in Mudgee is cold, but the A/C did a good job of keeping us warm, as did the electric blankets on the beds. Two large king bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. A roomy common living area and kitchen diner. Milk, butter, tea, coffee, etc all provided. The place is very comfortable and impeccably clean. Not even a smear on the glass surfaces. The hosts, BJ and Gav, are cheerful, friendly, helpful and full of local knowledge. Would happily stay there again. Highly recommended.

BRILLIANT STARRY SKIES AT NIGHT

Brilliant Farm Stay with BJ + Gav - clean, so close to Mudgee town centre, had everything we needed and more, and now you ask why only 4 stars - we need Wi-fi for our business, and there is only Hotspots - read for phones, but we needed our iMac to work, and it would not connect.
And the millions of Stars at nights are just brilliant.
Other than that this stunning Farm would get a 5 star. Thanks for having us guys.

The most wonderful stay!

We had the most wonderful long weekend here. The hosts were absolutely lovely and offered lots of advice to make sure we had a great trip. The self contained accommodation was super central to all the vineyards and so cozy added by the breakfast supplies you can order. And my son loved engaging with their animals on the premises. Perfect for a family stay.

Can't Beat Experience!

We had the most wonderful experience staying at this beautiful family-owned property. From the moment we arrived, the host family made us feel completely welcome. They were incredibly friendly, personable, and genuinely invested in making sure our trip was special.
The property itself is stunning—peaceful, well cared for, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home (bread, eggs, jam etc). But what really set this stay apart was the hospitality. The hosts went above and beyond in every way, offering recommendations, sharing local insights, and checking in just enough to make us feel supported without ever being intrusive.
Their warmth and generosity turned a lovely trip into a truly memorable one. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and would return in a heartbeat.
