VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE
As a result of moving between apartments, a bag was left in one of the apartments and not recovered (due to theft).

Great views, good location. Odd apartment rooms. Overpriced.
I arrived in the middle of a typically Brisbane downpour and was frustrated to find a locked front gate. Upon buzzing the reception I didn't get a response and was left in the rain trying to call the reception to get in for around 5 minutes. When I got the the reception I found myself slugged with additional costs above the online booking, making this an extremely expensive stay.
Enough of the shocking start to the stay, the apartment itself was exactly what I expected. The kitchen area while strangely set up to maximise open space, was one of the best I have had in a stay. The bed and bedroom was great and felt homely. The bathroom good - except for something I will touch on in a moment.
Cleanliness was mostly pretty good. The sheets on the bed were clean but a little tired, however disspointly there was a bag of trash that had been left over on the balcony by a previous occupant who clearly had been having. a big ol drink.
So the bathroom - I seem to be coming across a lot of hotels these these that have moved to tiled floors, something I assume is easier and cheaper to keep clean. This space used the same cheap Bunnings broad glazed tiles throughout the entire space, including the bathroom. While towels are provided, the bath mat was small and really didn't cover much space, so stepping out of the shower resulted in a situation where the poor choice of tile and little coverage saw me sliding on the tile and crunching my head and elbow onto the furnishings, leaving me bruised. It could have been much worse though.
The parking station also is a bit of a shambles. While you can organise yourself parking in advance, it really isn't guaranteed. It is secured by a gate though that has some very awkward controls to operate.
