Above and Beyond - Beechworth Holiday Park

We’ve travelled all over Australia, and I can honestly say the staff at Beechworth Holiday Park are the friendliest we have ever come across.
After a vehicle breakdown late on a Saturday evening—right in the middle of the busy Christmas period—I called the park not really knowing what to expect. Viv went above and beyond, actually returning to the park to find us emergency accommodation at the last minute. After our car (towing the caravan) broke down in the middle of nowhere and we were towed in, she made the kids and me feel genuinely welcome, safe, and cared for. She even helped us work out a way to get home to Sydney.
Despite everything, we were able to enjoy the beautiful town of Beechworth thanks to the comfort of this awesome caravan park. The camp kitchen is great, the amenities are spotless, and the swimming pool is a perfect little bonus. We had our bikes with us and loved being able to ride the bike trail into town—such a highlight.
We can’t wait to come back again (hopefully in far less of an emergency!). This will now be our go-to stop whenever we travel between Sydney and Melbourne. Highly, highly recommend.

Ok but very tired

We stayed in one of the cabins, arrived early at 12.10 and greeted by owner with "you're early, check in not till 2 per our email", hard to read when i was driving!! So wasn't allowed in. Park was adequate but room was certainly dated and needs a refurbishment desperately, due to the cold a blanket for the bed wouldve been welcome but appreciated the electric blanket, parking incredibly tight and roof leaked everywhere, park amenities ok but couldn't use them due to non stop rain, ok place as was very reasonable price, location required driving everywhere

Rip off

I needed to empty my toilet cassette and called into this business to be told it would cost $10 to empty. Ive been travelling for some time now & when needed to pay to empty cassette never this amount. I will advise my friends to avoid your park like the plague in future

Clean and comfortable studio in quiet holiday park.

Stayed in the Pet Friendly studio and found it to be clean and very comfortable. Park has a great location - quiet and handy to Beechworth. Didn't have much interaction with the staff but didn't need to because every was fine with studio.

Clean and helpful

After our booked accommodation fell through my adult daughter and I were lucky enough to get a last minute 2 bed cabin over the weekend which was very clean and appeared new. We only had staff interaction at the beginning and end of our stay but it was courteous and helpful. The wifi didn't work inside but we could get patchy reception on the verandah (which was fine for us and not the fault of the park anyway). We didn't use any of the other facilities the park offered.
