A wonderful place to visit for a few drinks and food

Visited several times during our SA stay and we kept returning because it was so lovely. Our party of 8 adults, 2 small children and 2 babies have just enjoyed a leisurely breakfast there to celebrate Orthodox Christmas. The attentive staff and the food were lovely and we cannot fault the scenery. Such a great place to visit whilst at Largs Bay.

Very Disappointed

What a disappointment. Went for lunch and ordered a thai beef salad. Well, this consisited of a Huge bowl of store packet coleslaw like you get from Coles or Woolies, with a few peanuts, some slices of apple and a few slices of radish. The beef, once I found it in amongst the mountain of coleslaw so was thin and mostly fat and grisle. I ended up spitting out most of the beef that I did actually find. Needless to say, half the meal was left in the bowl. I think it cost around $32 which is ridiculous for what I was served up. How can they justify this. To make matters worse, the website advertises Senior meals but we were told they don't do Seniors Meals in Summer. I won't be going back.

Very poor service and the food is not good compared to cost

Very average because we were with another couple and I actually ordered my lunch before the other couple and they had their meal delivered before ours and we then waited 40 mins after they had finished their meal.
I asked two staff members to check for me and they never came back so my wife went inside and spoke to the manager and he said its because we were going to claim on the Government voucher offer which is a load of rubbish because I had paid full price and the kitchen would not even know that. Later on a Spoke to another senior staff member and she said its because the other couple had a tab operating that they got theirs before us.! Its like a circus because how cab that happen with the correct systems in place and we were offered free cup of coffee but then had to chase that up as well. We have supported this hotel for years but now wont be back and also the food prices compared to the food itself is very, very poor.
