Excellent studio apartment

The very nice apartment studio has a large bathroom (with multiple towels, hand soap, body soap, Aruba Aloe shampoo), it has a two-seater dining room, a comfortable bed, a night stand, sofa, and two closets. It has its kitchen - large and spacious refrigerator, electric stove with two burners, coffee maker, microwave, plates, glasses and cutlery, and two pots for cooking (I found it very complete) and soap for washing dishes (very important). A plus, she is the cleaning lady, every day she came to collect the garbage from the kitchen and the bathroom. Everything very clean and in good condition. Another plus, they lend you chairs and towels to take to the beach. It is important to note that diagonally from the hotel is the Anapominimarket (where you can get everything you need for your stay - food, drinks, and personal hygiene), and next to the hotel is the Zucchini restaurant (for dinner) I recommend it.
The bus stop is by the Quintana hotel (look for a yellow sign and bench to sit on) to go to Palmar beach, and the bus stop to go to Oranjestad (it is by the Costa Linda hotel - towards the south) or in front of the screaming eagle restaurant.

6 day / 5 night Review of Delrado Eagle Beach Resort
Pros : easily accessible to the beach , less than a 5 mile walk.
Cons : small hotel : no elevator for those who would need it , upon check in we were greeted nicely by someone who told us we can pick up our beach towels in the morning and then return them at night. Next day as we left for the beach , there was no help at the counter but a sign that said in case of emergency call this number , when we did get towels they were wet still , no security at night ( they do have cameras but not sure what help that would be exactly ). Lobby smelled musty , pool area old and not clean , bar area ??isn’t one really. The rooms - much needed updates, toilet had a big crack that kept pinching my wife’s bottom ,could not regulate the water temperature in the shower and then add in the fact there was no water pressure to wash off the sand and soap. The sink faucet leaked so bad we needed to put towels around it , the sink itself wouldn’t drain.
Furniture dated, stove had aluminum foil around plates , small refrigerator, no balcony , noise from construction across the street at times.
Lesson learned - you get what you pay for and our only two saving graces was the clover and mini market across the street.

Ok if you don’t need hot water. Great location and price, though.

Great location, 1 block to Eagle Beach and good restaurants. Good price. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean with good quiet air conditioning . Nice to have use of beach chairs and towels. HOWEVER, there was no hot water, or cold water, only lukewarm! The pool area was dismal - all cement or brick, leaves in the pool which was not cleaned for the 4 days we were there, some lounge chairs were broken, cushions were dirty. Unfortunately there was major noisy construction all around the hotel. Also be aware that all the rooms are on the second floor with no elevator. And it was very hard to find since the streets are not labeled. The address implies it’s on a main road, but it’s actually on a side street, down the block from the Screaming Eagle restaurant.

Gem in Aruba, economical

Excellent hotel, for location and quality of all amenities.
I want to highlight the treatment of all their employees, very cordial and willing to help with whatever we need.
They provide chairs and a beach towel. Even floats. The bus passes over the avenue. Economical option
I would return without hesitation

Enjoyable stay, best bang for your buck

This is an excellent, no-frills, family owned hotel. Besides keeping our room spotless clean during the duration of our stay, this hotel provided fresh, clean beach towels everyday along with quality beach chairs. I would definitely stay here again.
