Good base for a couple of nights.

I've read some of the not so encouraging reviews here, I must say we had the complete opposite experience.
The hotel is extremely good value for money, very cheap for the distance to the city centre.
It even has a small swimming pool.
Modern clean rooms, the property throughout was well maintained.
The hotel is within walking distance to the sights and bars/restaurants etc in the centre.
The staff were always friendly and helpful.
Recommended for a basic, no thrills hotel for a couple of nights.

Hotel on a slow street between Barekamutiun street and metro.

Room 206 -- View to the courtyard with pool, Clean room, clean showe stall where water does not accumulate and turn into something disgusting. It's very clean, not noisy area, beds have stiff mattresses, so if you like hard beds, you will be happy. Don't eat breakfast there, it's very minimal and overpriced. For a cheaper and much better, go to nearest grilling places on Barekamutiun Street. Hoyel staff is pleasant and professional. Room has one single bed, one queen bed, loveseat with2 small chairs, coffee table, coat hooks, wardrobe, TV , large console, kettle, fridge, hair drier. Wifi often without Internet. I changed the room to opposite side for a view, gorgeous hillside landscape with Hrazdan river. Room 205. More expensive. More beds, more towels, same faulty unreliable Wifi, TV worked without problem. Both rooms have not 100 % blackout curtains, bring your own eye shades. Not noisy, peaceful location. No elevator. Plenty of stairs to go if you want to get out of hotel territory. Clisest GROCERY-- turn right from hotel and walk 10 min, there's a store open till 23:30 , and pass the street, there is a Lover's Park with caffee and excellent Wi-Fi and metro station is right there. EAT -- from the entrance of hotel go straight up the hill, turn right., on corner you will see 24hr grill place, affordable, delicious. To the right from this eatery walk 5 min, there's 24hr grocery. Use GG app or GoYandex app for your rides. Rated 3 because of unreliable Internet and inconvenient beds

The hotel was in a quiet part of the city. There were mini-supermarkets nearby and the pool was a bit touch, even though it was still cold in May. The breakfast was great, even though it was served later than usual and the cook bent over backwards to make sure that she made us something we'd enjoy. The only thing I'd warn you about is the fact that there are a lot of steps leading from the street to the hotel and no lift, so if you're disabled, as I am, you'd struggle. But the hotel staff, again, did their best to help us with this and I can't fault them for this.

Overall, my experience was very positive. The staff were professional and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. Although the Wi-Fi connection was occasionally slow, it did not significantly affect my stay. The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to many shops and transportation options. This was my first visit to Armenia, and I was truly impressed by the excellent service and warm hospitality at the hotel. I would be happy to stay here again in the future. Thank you for your outstanding service.
