Honest food, fair prices and genuinely friendly service

A very pleasant experience. The Waldmühle is not trying to be something it is not: this is good, traditional regional cooking, served in generous portions and at absolutely reasonable prices.
We had, among other things, potato soup, beef roulade and tongue with asparagus, accompanied by local dark beer and schnapps. Everything was well prepared and satisfying.
What we particularly appreciated was the service. The ladies looking after us were genuinely friendly, attentive and welcoming, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
Good value for money, honest cuisine and a warm atmosphere. We left very satisfied and would definitely return.

Highly recommended

For many years, the Hotel Waldmühle in Warmbad has been our absolute favorite hotel and a place to which our whole family always loves to return. Whether grandma, aunt, parents, or grandchildren – everyone feels completely at home here.
We would especially like to highlight the excellent breakfast and the incredibly delicious dinner. The dishes are always fresh, varied, and prepared with a lot of love – a real highlight of every stay.
After dinner, we almost always enjoy the relaxed end of the day in the thermal spa. This combination of culinary enjoyment and relaxation makes the stay simply perfect.
But what really makes the hotel special is the warm hospitality. The entire team is always friendly, attentive, and addresses individual requests. You can feel immediately that the well-being of the guests is the top priority here.
For us, the Waldmühle is far more than just a hotel – it is a place to arrive, feel at home, and unwind. We look forward to our stay every single time and can wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful hotel. Many thanks to the entire team for the many unforgettable moments. We will definitely be back!

For years we have been happy to come to the Hoffmann family. The location is just top and you feel very comfortable. Cleanliness 10 out of 10. Food 10 out of 10 points

Quiet hotel in idyllic location

Set in the woodlands outside the pretty little town of Wolkenstein in Saxonia's Ore Mountains, this little family run hotel offers good value with nicely furnished and comfortable rooms. The "Erzgebirge" is probably world-famous through its much-loved traditional wood-carved Christmas decorations although I don't know how many people outside Germany know that this mountain range and its little towns and villages is their place of origin. Hotel Waldmuehle is a good location from which to explore the region - there is enough to see to merit more than a few days' stay - and for those who like mountain hiking or biking, it is ideally placed. And if you are tired of the outdoors, there is the most fabulous thermal spa resort called "Silbertherme" nearby!

Ein tolles Hotel/ A beautiful Hotel

…ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einen herausragenden Preis - Leistungsverhältnis, ganz freundlichen und aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern, riesigen Essen Portionen, einen Eisbein mit Klößen, wie früher bei Opa und Oma , einen üppigen Frühstücksbüffet und schönen Zimmern. Absolut empfehlenswert!
Hier kommen wir wieder her.
(Die Silbertherme Warmbad, 20 min. Fußweg entfernt) kann man sich sparen, außer man legt auf unfreundliches, arrogantes und inkompetentes Personal wert. Nicht zu empfehlen!)
...a very nice hotel with excellent value for money , very friendly and attentive staff, huge portions of food, a pork knuckle with dumplings, like grandpa and grandma used to do , a rich breakfast buffet and beautiful rooms. Absolutely recommendable!
Here we will come again.
(The Silbertherme Warmbad, 20 minutes walk away) is nothing special, you will find there unfriendly, arrogant and incompetent staff. Not recommended.)
