The room was clean with plenty of space and nicely furnished. The staff was very friendly. The location at the edge of town is convenient if you want to get out into nature quickly.

Rude staff at reception
We were greeted by an extremely rude, almost hostile, woman at the reception. She told us that we had to pay 50 euros more for the room, because we had a dog with us or the dog would have to sleep in the car. Online it says that a dog costs 18 euros. Thankfully we had not booked a room beforehand and we left.

Thank you for your feedback – we are very sorry that your impression of our reception was so negative. Friendliness and respectful treatment of our guests are our highest priority, and we are sorry that you experienced this differently.
After consulting with our reception, we would like to clarify the situation: At the time of your inquiry, only one room in our Superior category was available, where dogs are allowed. Our staff member provided you with a personalized quote and openly communicated the total price with and without breakfast and dog – and even offered a discount.
Since you then mentioned that you wanted to book through Booking.com, our colleague informed you that there are no more dog-friendly rooms available there and that in this case, a dog must be registered in advance – otherwise, bringing your dog with you would unfortunately not have been possible.
Our regular fee for dogs is €18 per night. In your case, the higher total price was due to the room category chosen and the requested inclusive services.
Please understand that we are also considerate of other guests, especially those with pet allergies. Therefore, dogs are only allowed in select rooms and must be registered in advance.
We would be delighted if you would visit us again at some point – because we are convinced: There are other ways to do things ANDERS (differently).

Sadly the restaurant takes it down a notch. No clear direction on where to go to get there and the servers felt confused but they where nice. The food was good though. We must also have had some elephants sleeping above us but that is not the Hotels fault 😅

Nice to stop over
The hotel is a little worn out. The staff is super good. Breakfast should be consumed at another hotel 2 min walk from the hotel. The room was fine clean and had what one needed.

At du også nævner vores morgenmadstilbud i den nærliggende restaurant, kun 2 minutters gang væk, hjælper andre rejsende med at orientere sig.
Samtidig må vi ærligt sige, at vi er overraskede – og lidt skuffede – over den samlede vurdering på 3 ud af 5 stjerner. Din beskrivelse giver et langt mere positivt billede, end karakteren umiddelbart antyder. Desværre har sådanne bedømmelser – uanset den skrevne tekst – en negativ indflydelse på førstehåndsindtrykket for fremtidige gæster, især på bookingportaler, hvor vurderingen ofte er afgørende.
Vi vil blive meget glade, hvis du ved en fremtidig rejse vælger at bo hos os igen – måske med lidt mere tid til at opleve hele vores tilbud.

Nice hotel
Nice and clean room. Great dinner and impressive breakfast buffet. Friendly smiling and helpful staff in both reception and restaurant.
We had 2 nights in connection with a visit to the bird park and here the hotel has a perfect location in relation to this park
