❤Birthday vacation❤

We were given a very friendly welcome at reception.
The hotel has a modern, fresh feel. We had room number 11 with a balcony and a view of the water, which is indescribably beautiful, the view is magnificent. You can see all the way to Wilhelmshaven. This evening we will see what the place has to offer.

Food coma

Super tasty buffet, just a little limited choice of vegetables. The owner is also very nice and gave us schnapps on the house. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance, we were just lucky. Ice cream was included in the buffet.

Poor service

We have been looking forward to a comfortable dining experience and happy to pay extra for quality service and food.
After being welcomed by a member of staff matters went downhill. Food on offer were a la Cart oder Buffet but there waiter failed to ask which and had to go away to fetch the Menu.
After about 20 minutes he returned to take the order and dinner arrived after another 15-20 minutes. Food has been well prepared and nicely plated, taste was good.
On other tables used dishes have been left, drink orders not being fulfilled oder taken excessively long to be served.
Never again!

Cool, layed back flair

Had the pleasure of overnighting at the Strand- Hotel in Dangast on a bicycle tour thru East Frisia. The hotel is perfectly situated and the rooms, bar and restaurant were perfect! We had a small balcony overlooking the sea and enjoyed cocktails at the patio bar in the afternoon sun. The restaurant has been recently added to the hotel and is modern and cozy. I wished our layover in Dangast was a night longer as the groove of the town and the hotel was great!
