A lot of history being brought up to the 21st century

We had an overnight stay at this hotel. First view the building was very plain. We were escorted through these big doors (original doors) at the front of the building, which led us into a large walled beer garden the sun was shining on the garden it looked very inviting and well laid out. Our bed room was large with modern traditional furniture, comfortable bed; everything in the room was very clean. The shower room was very modern and a good size also very clean. We had an evening meal in the beer garden which is well supported by the locals. We both chose from the specials board. I had BBQ spare ribs with coleslaw and my partner had Goose breast with mushroom sauce. Both meals were huge and absolutely stunning, complements to the chefs. Our breakfast was served indoor in the main room, the room is well setup and again very clean. The lady who served us our breakfast was very pleasant polite and very accommodating, I don’t drink coffee or tea so she brought me bottled water. The breakfast had cereal, choice of meats and cheese eggs buns etc, a very good breakfast. This is a community hotel which deserves to succeed. They have completely refurbished it, it appears a lot of money has been spent on it and it shows. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, some of them volunteers from the community. We wish them every success in the future. The hotel a credit to all involved and to the community.

A stop en route to Austria. a bit of confusion as philipsburg is another town and there was a road closure due to an accident. Well appointed and a healthy evening meal and breakfast. We will return!

Very satisfied

The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished. The location is also great! The staff was super friendly. We felt very comfortable. "Annika, Santa & Layla" were particularly friendly and accommodating :) This accommodation is definitely recommended!

Ingen reception så man måste kontakta personalen i restaurangen under, lite svårt att hitta. Men gammalt och charmigt med ljus stort rum o renoverat badrum. Husdjursvänligt, även i restaurangen, där vi åt både middag och frukost, båda mycket bra!
Gullig liten ort, men tyvärr hade vi inte tid att utforska då vi bara var på genomresa.

Het hotel ligt aan de Hauptstrasse, maar daar merk je niets van. De kamers zijn oké voor één of enkele dagen. Het ontbreken van airco was wel vervelend, want het werd snikheet in de kamer (buiten was het 30 graden). In de zomer is dus vooral de Biergarten achter leuk, want in je kamer kun je niet wezen van de warmte. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Al met al een dikke 7!
