Always happy to return to the Alpenhotel KRONE

Super pleasant place, we felt right at home, very friendly staff, warm, attentive, what more could you like? We didn't miss anything, the food totally convinced us, very large kitchen...Breakfast the next morning also quite wonderful, what can we say? THANK YOU!

Beautiful country inn

We spent one night here while passing through. The rooms are modern and beautifully furnished.
The breakfast is phenomenal and the house has a pleasant atmosphere.
It is an advantage that the house has a good restaurant. This saves you having to walk long distances.

Enjoyable

Very nice hotel in Bavarian style. Very nice hosts. Rooms are quiet and very cosy and newly renovated situated outside Pfronten, but you have nearly everything in walking distance. We liked the breakfast which offers everything for every taste. The restaurants offers very good quality but is a bit overpriced.

Very nice hotel

Very nice weekend stay. Our comfort room was perfect for s couple of two, the bathroom very modern and spacy including a rain-forest shower and other amenities. There is a sauna in the hotel, but we didn´t use it. The staff is extremely nice and perfectly know their role as hosts. The food is very good, there is an onsite restaurant with fine dining and a lounge where you can have a nightcap or simply relax. The hotel does not offer balconies, but there is an outdoor area. The surroundings are quiet although you are pretty close to the village centre. Parking is easy outside and there is a garage for a few cars. Lot of things to do in the area. And the breakfast offers anything for every taste. . We definitely come back.

A pleasant stay.

This hotel is clearly a very old building, sensitively converted to a hotel. The rooms are light, spacious and well appointed, a lift helps getting about and it is possible to breakfast or dine either inside or on the lawn. The kitchen serves a restricted menu, but one that changes both daily and seasonally.
Book your stay well in advance and qualify for a "KonigsCarte". This gem allows free or discounted entry to many of the attractions round about and given the propensity of the kings of Bavaria for spending money there are plenty of those. In short, book to stay twice as long as you thought, you will still find it not long enough! If the museums and lake cruises don't appeal, a short walk gets you to the cablecar and straight up into the Bavarian Alps!
