A hidden gem of a place to stay
Great family owned hotel located in a residential area close to the town center, restaurants and parks. The room was very large with a large private bathroom. For those that enjoy a soak the tub is great. Free parking. Nice breakfast buffet. Balcony out the room for enjoying some quiet time. Lots of closet space.

To avoid, sinister and cleanliness leaves to be desired (spider webs in the room).
No heating in the room , a simple duvet, oas additional cover, in short a charming hotel typical of the 80s in Germany, it is because it is late, otherwise I would not have stayed... I strongly advise against

Stopover hotel Hiemer
Good stopover option. Dated hotel but the room was clean, the toilet room was clean and the beds were good. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Hotel is 2 km from nice historic center. Breakfast was reasonably ok.

Interesting old-fashioned hotel
The hotel is located over 1.5km from the city gate of Memmingen. An old-fashioned hotel but it was fine. It can be walked in 20-25 minutes. This is doable when it is not raining! The hotel lies in a residential area but you hardly see anybody!
I honestly do not know how the hotel survives financially. There were only a few guests there when I was there. I was given a double room which was comfortable especially the sofa chair beside the bed! Altogether the room was fine and everything functioned.
I need to be honest here. I walked into Memmingen but came back to the hotel to have evening dinner. I was stunned to find nobody there. The waitress God bless her had no customers for almost 3 hours!!!! It pretty much sums up the hotel in how does it survive!? The meal itself was fine.
Breakfast was an ordinary affair. To be honest, it did the job and there was enough meat, cheese, bread & cerals but no great selection.
There is a lovely forest area 2km away from the hotel. I don't regret staying here but I doubt I will be back.

A nice hotel for a night
The hotel is 5 minutes from the centre but since we had a car we didnt care..
Its an old hotel in a green residential area .
The rooms are huge and spacy with big balcony
The beer garden and restaurant nice surrounded by green...
Ok the hotel is old and needs fixing also the shower needs a curtain because the water spills everywhere...
For a night is quite nice
