We had a very pleasant stay at Hampton.
Everything was nice and clean. Loved that they provided a full toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and hand wash soap. And everything was filled in full, unlike other places that was only half filled or almost nothing left in the bottle.
The hotel lies close to the walking street, and there is a lot of parking opportunities to choose from.
We will definitely come back to stay here again.

We had a double bed + a sleeping sofa, but the sleeping sofa was such a poor quality the metal springs wasn't possible to sleep on until after we acquired extra bedding to soften it up - it should not have been offered as a potential bed in the quality it was in.
The breakfast was crowded, no available tables and it was prohibited to take the breakfast to our room, which was not a good start to the day. The hotel experience would have improved if they made you pick a time slot for breakfast and kept track so no more than the capacity could sign up for each time slot.
The staff was overall super helpful which improved the overall impression of the stay, but don't think I would choose this hotel next time we're going to this city.

Great Stay!

Great hotel near the train station. Clean rooms and close enough to the cruise port. The train station is close by. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet is really great, but gets crowded.

Loss of property due to unauthorized room eviction – Management turns out to be dead

Our stay at Hampton by Hilton Kiel was a great disappointment. Without arrangement and before the official check-out our room was vacated by the housekeeping. My medical sunglasses disappeared in the process.
While the hotel has acknowledged the incident as a service error, it avoids any communication regarding material damage. Since my stay, I have been trying in vain to get a statement from the management. There's absolute radio silence. Even the Hilton headquarters (Guest Assistance) efforts to persuade the hotel to contact them have so far been unsuccessful. It is unacceptable that a guest should be left in the rain after such a glaring mistake by the house. I can only advise against staying at this hotel.
The overall quality of service left much to be desired: Already on arrival we noticed a defective shower head. Although we reported this immediately at the reception, the deficiency was simply ignored. The fact that our room was also vacated early and the management has been refusing all communication for months now makes this stay my worst Hilton experience yet.

VISIT TO KIEL

Hotel of the chain, completely new and in very good location, the location close to the central station makes it perhaps the best of this accommodation, the room to be three people is very small, for two is great because it has double bed and sofa and is spacious but going to a third that sofa fulfills the bed services and stays everything very compact, the wardrobe to hang the clothes is also fair, a little minimalist, the bathroom more than fulfills its service. The breakfast quite complete but also complicated if you do service very late by the increase in people and there is not room for everyone, many in our case have gone to the reception tables otherwise the hotel very clean as well as the room and the very friendly staff.
