Nearly four stars

Easily accessible, centrally located, nice clean hotel with very helpful and communicable staff. Attractive restaurant in the basement where light breakfast is also given. There is access also after midnight. Liked very much cosy and and clean room and red wine on the rooms desk. Nearly four stars.

Not again.

Sagging of the bed, bathroom not very good, sparse facilities. No possibility to sit down after 7 pm somewhere in the hotel.

The only very positive thing is the employees

Key message: Not recommended!!!
The only very positive thing is the hotel staff.
The young lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast service employee also did an excellent job. The breakfast room is also absolutely fine.
If the reception area was designed more nicely, the first impression would definitely be much more positive than it is currently.
The entire "room ambience" is not inviting in any way and has been in the same condition for what feels like 30 years, the bed (extremely soft) was uncomfortable, the smoking corner below our room window was constantly occupied until midnight. There was a lot of need for conversation, which cost us a few hours of sleep.
120 euros for B&B was overpriced, as the product does not justify this price at all.
I would suggest that at least the smoking corner could be moved to a less disruptive area (conversation noise and smell), as this could perhaps be possible immediately without major investments.

Another stay with pleasure

This is my second stay in this hotel. I preferred it for the second time because it is close to everywhere and clean. lovely front office staff and of course Ms. Elizabeth, the owner of the hotel. They are incredibly friendly and professional. If you do not want to get any risks and make your stay a memorable one I highly recommend this hotel to you. I will be back definitely at the end of August.

Nice days in Holzminden

Excellent staff, excellent food!!! Friendly and new decorated rooms with very good service.
Can recommend this hotel for business people, because of English speaking staff and for leisure travellers because of good access to biking routes.
