Katharinenhof forest pavilion, you can hardly eat better on Fehmarn

We had stopped for the first time in the forest pavilion. The restaurant has a pleasant Mood and the staff is very friendly and concerned for the well-being of guests. The menu is small, but it's quite something. We have ordered the recommendation of the house, a char on grilled vegetables with rosemary potatoes and a Bernese sauce. The food was just a force. Everything was super tasty and served great. The food was so abundant that we couldn't manage to eat it all.
The price level is also acceptable.
Certainly we will visit the forest pavilion again and eat deliciously at the next Fehmarn visit. Because we ate better on Fehmarn so unfortunately

Day guests are apparently not welcome

Actually zero stars, since zero Service.
We were there today and wanted to spend a relaxing afternoon on the sun terrace touted by exhibitors in the entrance area. However, no Service was planned for the outside, as the tables were "dirty" after the rain shower, which had been 1.5 hours ago and was now bright blue skies (the words of the service employee). Catering only possible inside instead of wiping the table. Can't do it at all

No attention, no operation

We did a bike ride and happened to come by. We took a seat on the great outdoor terrace with the beautiful view. The location is really great.
There were some tables occupied and two waiters running around cashing in or distributing food.
One of the waiters saw us coming, looked at us, no hello, no kind gesture.
Even after 15 minutes we were not paid attention and we would not be served. We then got up and drove again.
It's too bad, it's not possible.

No interest in guests ... not recommended

We stopped here for lunch. Already on the way to the restaurant you can see several welcome greetings on the road. At the entrance a plaque with: Welcome to our sun terrace. We were the only guests to sit down and wait..... After 15 minutes we packed up again and left. Staff don't show up and I refuse to run after waiters as a guest. Apparently, there's no value in guests here. Too bad, because the restaurant used to be very good.
So we preferred to spend our money in the Allee Café.

Erneuter Versuch und wieder auf die Nase gefallen

Im letzten Jahr besuchten wir dieses Restaurant und mussten feststellen, dass das gute Essen und die schöne Lage leider den miesen Service nicht ausgleichen konnte. 20 Minuten Wartezeit auf eine Getränkebestellung und so ging es weiter, sind ein No Go. Das Personal schien überfordert zu sein. Eigentlich wollten wir dieses Restaurant nicht mehr betreten. Haben aber gedacht, vielleicht hat sich etwas geändert in dem Jahr und starteten einen erneuten Versuch. Wir wurden aber gleich abgebügelt, weil wir einen Hund dabei hatten. Der dürfte nicht mit rein. Das war im letzten Jahr anders. Aus diesem Grund haben wir davon abgesehen, unser Geld in diesem Restaurant zu lassen. Das war definitiv das letzte Mal.
