Very nice hotel

We were passing through and chose this lovely place. Large and well equipped room with desk, shelf, TV, bed and seating. The room was modern and lovingly decorated. Shower with sink and toilet with sink is spatially separated. Everything was very clean. The staff was nice and helpful. Overall, the hotel is very nicely decorated.
Breakfast great with everything you could wish for. From various rolls and juices, cold cuts such as sausage, cheese, and fruit, cereal, jam etc. The coffee is available from a vending machine with freshly ground beans. In the backyard is a cafe and within walking distance some restaurants. On our return journey we will stay again for one night at the hotel.
I have to give a star deduction for the mini toilet and bathroom. Unfortunately, it's so cramped that you sit halfway under the sink. Nevertheless, we would recommend the hotel as it is in the center and you can explore much well on foot.

A simple but good overnight hotel!

Good location in Eisleben, not so many sights, a perfect overnight hotel! The reception is unmanned so you have to ring the bell when you arrive, answer immediately! Large and nice room, separate toilet.
Simple but good breakfast, free parking at the back. Very affordable!!
Only minus - the pillows - non-existent!
Very good restaurant next door to the hotel.

Comfortable Hotel in the Centre of Historic Town

Although Deckerts Hotel is a little difficult to find (even with GPS) it has a nice location close to the centre of town. Eisleben is - despite being Martin Luther's birth- and deathplace, not very touristy and affords the alert visitor a glimpse in its - not so distant - communist past...
Deckerts is one of two hotels run by the same family, so reception is not staffed in the evening - but this is not a problem, since the coordinate check-in well.
Rooms are clean and fairly spacious. Correct breakfast in comfortable setting.

In Luther's footsteps

2017 is a very special year for LutherCountry, as it marks the 500th anniversary of the year Martin Luther made his 95 Theses known to the world, thus changing the history of the church, country, and world forever. So we decided to travel to Luther's place of birth and death on this monumental occasion. As it was off season, there were literally NO other tourists around. We decided to stay at the Deckerts Hotel. The room was large and very comfortable (we did have to ask for a second pillow;) but other than that, it had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent. It is within walking distance of all the Luther attractions and yet very quiet. Also, an Italian restaurant is right next door.

A very comfortable hotel near the sights

I stayed there while walking a section of the European Long Distance Footpath E11. A very comfortable hotel in the centre of the town. (I gathered it has fairly recently been converted from an old and historic building.) It is very convenient for all the historic sights, although a bit difficult to find. I was welcomed in a friendly way. The restaurant was not open the night I was there, though there was a good Italian restaurant (recommended by the hotel) next door. Breakfast was good.
