Great stay, very clean looking room, the reception was helpful
Overall fantastic apart from being noisy at night, if you aren’t used to noise bring ear plugs, which I should have gotten with me.
A tip for the hotel could be
Maybe offering them at the reception in a glass jar

A comfortable and cozy small hotel in a very convenient location next to a streetcar stop. It is about 15 minutes by bus from the airport and also about fifteen minutes directly on the streetcar to the downtown so it is easy to get anywhere. There are several restaurants and a small market across the street and several supermarkets and many more restaurants and shops in walking distance. The staff were friendly and speak English. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. A small bathroom and the main disadvantage no air conditioning but the room was pretty comfortable with the small fan they provide. The breakfast was great with many choices. The WiFi worked well and the tv had a few English and foreign channels. A good value for money and a good location if you like to see a normal neighborhood but convenient to get around. I would stay again.

Highly recommended

This superbly run hotel with a consistently sympathetic team and a lovely director has hosted us for a week and we will be happy to come back anytime. Freshly renovated rooms, modern, tasteful decor, good beds, functional bathroom, all very clean and well maintained. A special praise for the rich, varied breakfast buffet, in which our granddaughter, who did not live in the hotel, was allowed to participate at no extra charge.

Not customer friendly

This hotel is not recommended. Booked 2 rooms and contacted the hotel about parking and pet free, but one simply does not respond to questions. There are better alternatives.

Fine for short stay

We stayed over New Year's Eve for three nights at the hotel on Spichernplatz, which is relatively centrally located. The parking situation around the hotel is bad; as we did not find a parking space in the surrounding streets, we unfortunately (for 19 € per day!) had to resort to the hotel's small parking garage. All staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We had a double room on the third floor which was very very small (if at all 10 m2), as was the bathroom. You could just about move around the bed, that's it, with a bigger suitcase you already have problems. The room was only superficially clean, many corners were quite dusty. In the bathroom there was occasional mold on the ceiling, the Rainshower shower head did not work properly (calcified?), the trigger in the bathroom did not work at all. The bathroom and bedroom were separated by a glass door that was difficult to close properly. Privacy, well! So a longer stay in the hotel with such a mini-room is not recommended.
Breakfast was available until 10am; here too a not very large breakfast room. There were all the products you know as standard, unfortunately nothing "special" or "exceptional". Unfortunately, there was only one kind of light bun during our stay. But the coffee, which was available at the vending machine and also in pots, tasted good.
In the hotel itself it was nicely decorated, the reception and all the remaining areas looked well maintained and quite modern.
On the ground floor is a Greek restaurant that we have not tested. Right in front of the hotel is a tram stop, a Turkish market, a bakery and an Irish pub.
Conclusion: for a short trip not bad and not too expensive, service friendly, arrival by car not recommended
