IBIS zentrum Dresden

We stayed here through a HEMA train-action. The hotel exceeded our expectations based on the discounted price. It's a fine, neat hotel and the location is great. Right in the center of Dresden less than 10 minutes walk from the station. Ideal base for a city break!

Medium

We were there with Scandorama. In April.
The rooms were like that. Small, and a little old-fashioned.
Didn't like the full carpet. Yuck, so much shit is in it.
Toilet, don't be a hit. Some deposits in the corners.
Boring pillows..and very small beds. Like lying on an ironing board.
The food in the dining room was nothing telling. Not enough vegetables. Some dish was still to my taste..pasta ravioli with vegetables and brown sauce and some meat pieces.
Breakfast was quite ok. Absolutely, there was a lot to choose from.

Convenient location, but an older hotel that is in need of updates. The showers did not maintain temperature, and it was a guess as to whether you were going to get hot or cold. Overall this was a good stay for the budget, close to the train station and the museums and plazas, but you get what you pay for. Lots of food options around was a nice Plus.

Good value for money

Hotel very close to the train station on a pedestrian and shopping street, it is easy to reach the historic center on foot.
Clean room, cramped bathroom but decent shower.
Air conditioning.
Fast food on the street.
Breakfast not tested.

Ibis is just Ibis.

If you know one Ibis hotel, you know them all. That is almost true. The rooms are indeed comparable. The breakfast here was okay. Interestingly, there was scrambled eggs here. However, there was no orange juice, but rather something very watery. Not really drinkable. The service was okay.
