Great place, excellent location!

Stayed in superior double. Had plenty of space, big comfortable bed, good ac, big bathroom with good shower, kitchen with amenities. The staff at the desk were helpful and the lobby is a cool place where people can hang out with a bar. The best thing is the location which is 5 minutes walk to the heart of museum Island which is where we spent most of our time in Berlin.

BE CAREFUL!!!

I wanted to share my experience regarding a reservation at this property in Scharrnstraße, Berlin, to warn future guests about the complete lack of flexibility from management .Due to an honest human error during the booking process, I accidentally selected the dates for July 20th–24th instead of June 20th–24th. I only discovered this devastating mistake upon arriving in Berlin, expecting to check in.I immediately contacted the host to explain that my sole intention was to stay at their property, not to cancel at the last minute. Since the reservation is actually for late July, there is still a full month remaining before the check-in date. This gives the property ample time to re-list the room and find a new guest, likely at a better peak-season rate.Despite this being a genuine mistake reported far in advance, the management strictly refused to offer any fair compromise. I did not demand a full refund; I proposed a partial refund (where they keep a fee for administrative costs) or a modification to change the guest names so a friend could use the room. They rejected everything, choosing to pocket 100% of my money for a room that is still a month away from being used.Be very careful when booking here. If life happens or you make a simple typo, do not expect any understanding, customer service, or basic empathy from this management. They care only about keeping your money!!!!

We understand your frustration and appreciate that the incorrect dates were the result of an honest mistake. As explained in our previous communication, your reservation was made under a non-refundable rate. Unfortunately, we are required to honor the terms and conditions of that booking and were therefore unable to approve your request for a refund or reservation changes.
We also offer flexible booking options that allow guests to cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival, and we explained these alternatives during our correspondence. While we understand this situation was upsetting, we were unable to make an exception to the policy associated with the rate that was selected at the time of booking.
We are sorry we could not provide the outcome you were hoping for and wish you all the best with your future travels.

A very good option for Berlin.

It is a very well-located hotel. It allows you to walk to various points of interest in 10-15 minutes.
There is a supermarket less than 5 minutes away.
The room is large and has basic kitchenware.
What I liked the least is that they say they clean every 3 days, but on the day they do clean, they do not put in much effort...
Aside from this, it is a highly recommended hotel.
