Our fabulous stay
The Hotel is situated on Potsdamer Platz which has very good transport connections, but is also conveniently placed for sightseeing on foot - the Brandenburg Gate is just a short walk away. On arrival at the hotel, my wife and I were checked in quickly and efficiently by the friendly Receptionist. As we were shown to the lift to access our room on the ninth floor (of ten), we passed through the stunning atrium which gives the hotel a light and spacious feeling.. Our room was very well appointed and had beautiful lighting. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also furnished well and had an excellent rain shower. As we had booked a Club Room, this granted us access to the Executive Lounge on the tenth floor with its fabulous views of Berlin, including the famous Berlin TV Tower. Here we were treated each morning to a variety of hot and cold breakfast offerings to suit every taste. The Lounge remained accessible throughout the day, during which time tea, coffee, soft drinks and simple snacks were available. From 5.30 pm, hot and cold food was served together with wine or beer if desired. We were looked after very well indeed by the lounge host, Michael Burkhardt, who was always friendly and helpful. He paid great attention to detail, whether it was clearing away plates, replenishing food items or keeping everything in the Lounge spotlessly clean. Michael is a tremendous asset to this Hotel - thank you so much for what you did for us. Based on our experience this year, we are keen to return to the Berlin Marriott Hotel in the near future and would certainly recommend it.

Good Hotel and Location
This was our second stay at Berlin Marriott, and once again we had a very enjoyable experience.
The hotel is in an excellent central location, making it easy to explore the city. The surrounding area is vibrant, with countless restaurants, cafés, and coffee shops just a short walk away. The lobby is beautiful, modern, and welcoming, creating a great first impression.
We stayed for three nights and had connecting rooms, which worked perfectly for our family. While the rooms are a bit smaller than those at some other Marriott properties, they are comfortable and well maintained. For business travelers or couples, the room size should be more than adequate.
Overall, the combination of the outstanding location, friendly atmosphere, and comfortable accommodations makes Berlin Marriott a great choice. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Berlin.

Originally given a room next to some quite major refurbishment works. Works starting at 8.30am until 5pm. Plastic sheeting covering floor, plastic up over the walls, hole in ceiling above room door with wiring viewable, presumably for electrical work.
Asked to move rooms which they did, but to be honest, they shouldn't have even considered that a suitable room in the first place. Good that they're doing maintenance, but could be managed much better.
Also, ice machine on our floor not working. No sign to indicate that it was out of order - just a locked door. No sign to indicate where the nearest working one might be.

An Excellent Base for Exploring Berlin**
I am a frequent traveler and a Marriott Titanium Elite member, so I base my hotel reviews on both the brand's standards and my personal experiences.
I recently stayed at the Berlin Marriott Hotel and found it to be an excellent choice for exploring the city. One of the hotel's greatest strengths is its location. Situated adjacent to Potsdamer Platz station, it offers outstanding access to Berlin's public transportation network. We arrived by train at Berlin Gesundbrunnen and took the S-Bahn directly to Potsdamer Platz. At the end of our stay, we took the FEX Airport Express directly from Potsdamer Platz to Berlin Brandenburg Airport. We never needed a taxi.
The location is equally convenient for sightseeing. Many of Berlin's major attractions, including Brandenburg Gate, the Holocaust Memorial, Topography of Terror, Potsdamer Platz, and the Tiergarten, are all within comfortable walking distance. We found it to be an ideal base for experiencing the city.
I was warmly recognized as a Marriott Titanium Elite member and was able to check in early, around 1:00 p.m., which was greatly appreciated after traveling. I also received an upgrade to an Executive Room on a high floor.
The room was quiet, comfortable, and exactly what I have come to expect from a Marriott. Although the hotel is located in the heart of Berlin, my room was surprisingly quiet. I had no issues with outside noise and slept very well throughout my stay.
The Executive Lounge was another highlight of the stay. Breakfast each morning offered a good variety of hot and cold items, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the evening food offerings. The lounge was a great place to unwind at the end of the day and added meaningful value to the overall experience.
Service throughout the hotel was consistently friendly and professional, making for a smooth and enjoyable stay from arrival through departure.
Overall, this is an outstanding Marriott property. Between its excellent location, easy access to public transportation, strong elite recognition, comfortable accommodations, and very good Executive Lounge, I would gladly stay here again on a future visit to Berlin.

Close to everything, safe and very comfortable
Perfect hotel for those who want convenience combining comfort and cost/benefit. The historical and cultural part of Berlin gave to perform all on foot. Room large, comfortable and good internet. Excellent morning coffee. Helpful and attentive staff.
