Unique place with foresight and top furnishings!
Once again we decided to spend an extended weekend at Vitalcamp.
We were unsure at first, as we only ever come in the off-season and the place was fully booked over the long weekend. What's in store for us?
On the one hand, it has to be said, the place has convinced us again extremely, despite full occupancy the campers get lost extremely.
The Vitalcamp itself offers a beautiful complex, well-kept facilities and an extremely friendly and striving staff. Class is of course also that sauna and indoor pool are included in the price.
Unfortunately, our stay was greatly marred by the behavior of some guests – especially the reckless behavior of some parents and their children.
It is disappointing to see how little consideration is given to others: Children without any education, parents who behave disrespectfully and even leave full diapers in the men's shower. When staff – always polite and professional – point out such abuse and ask to play by the rules, they are outrageously abused and threatened with complaint.
Likewise, the night's sleep seems to be for the so-called "Best anger" not to apply and you get fooled if you just want to sleep.
I would like to point out that we really like the space, facilities and concept. This year we will come at least 2 more times.
The price is unbeatable!!! Also in the restaurant Huckenhamer Stadl!!

Time out in the cottage with sauna
The cottage cottage cottage 1 looked much more spacious in the pictures than it actually was. With 3 people it was quite easy to bear, yet the bedroom and the chef/dining area was very cramped. You have few storage facilities in the kitchen. Electric kettle, coffee machine, Gr. Dishwasher, pots and dishes, pepper&salt were available. We lacked a teapot and the dishwasher could have been smaller, as only dishes for 3-4 people are available. Without the small wood stove it was usually not warm in the living area, but with wood burning but cuddly warm. The beds did not offer good sleeping comfort. Great we found the sauna incl. as well as the food in Huckenhamer Stadl. All in all, however, it was quite acceptable and fair for the price of 350€ for a week in February, but it should not cost much more. At a price of over 1000€ / week, however, my expectation would not have been met.
The staff was very helpful and nice throughout. A non-functioning faucet In the bathroom was replaced after 2 days. The electrical heating problem in the main room could not be changed due to construction. We will definitely come back.

Party atmosphere in the sauna area
Basically I find the place very nice, the ladies at the reception, very friendly, the sanitary facilities quite appealing.. But what was very disturbing this time was the daily sitting round of about 15-20 people arranged in a chair circle in the sauna. According to other guests, these are supposed to be day guests from outside and permanent campers, who have been meeting regularly for about a year and a half. The mood was always great and above all very, very loud, supported with plenty of alcohol. I quite understand that it gets a little louder in social gatherings from time to time but none of this has anything to do with a relaxed sauna session. You want to relax in the sauna, just like in the relaxation room. Unfortunately, that was not possible. Consideration towards the other guests would be appropriate.

Umso mehr bedauern wir, dass Ihr Aufenthalt im Saunabereich dieses Mal nicht so erholsam war, wie Sie es sich gewünscht hätten. Die Sauna und insbesondere auch der Ruheraum sollen natürlich ein Ort der Entspannung und Rücksichtnahme für alle Gäste sein. Dass Sie die Atmosphäre durch eine größere, sehr gesellige Runde als laut und störend empfunden haben, können wir gut nachvollziehen.
Grundsätzlich freuen wir uns zwar, wenn sich Gäste bei uns wohlfühlen und gerne zusammenkommen, dennoch darf dabei die Erholung anderer Saunagäste nicht beeinträchtigt werden. Ihr Hinweis ist daher sehr wertvoll für uns. Wir werden das Thema intern nochmals ansprechen und im Blick behalten, damit im Saunabereich wieder die ruhige Atmosphäre herrscht, die man sich dort wünscht.

Fantastic camps but we were very disappointed
We were guests in Bayerbach when they had just opened. There were just the trees set and the second medical house under construction. What we really liked at the time were the terraced pitches. So everyone who stood at least in the front row has a wonderful view of the valley.
Yesterday, after more than 14 years, we went back to Bayerbach to enjoy what we had left behind.
We were miserably disappointed.
Originally we thought when booking the pitch, mei, they are quite booked (which would speak for the campsite). Unfortunately, that's not entirely true. Most of the pitches are occupied by permanent campers in the meantime.
Not every permanent camper has a sense of aesthetics and obviously the campsite operators do not care how rubbish the individual plots are.
Directly behind the medical house 2 is a caravan with awning which is already so green and the awning is crumbling that you can not only believe that no one has been there for a long time, but that is probably the case.
Every permanent camper does something different with his plot - nothing is uniform and everything is designed cross-bed. It's a real shame. In the meantime, the campsite makes a dingy impression rather than well maintained.
The reception should also work a bit on his friendliness. The Bavarian population is mostly considered musty, but arrivals expect to be received friendly. Not objective, cool. It doesn't matter if it's low season. If you're not up for your job, you should pick another profession.
Positive to highlight (which is why we award 3 points):
The spacious, terraced pitches overlooking the valley.
The medical homes are warm, spacious and clean.
Wirtshaus Stadl directly at the location offers local delicacies and the waitresses understand their business. But it's not cheap. We had a water, 2 spritz and each a main course - 70 euros. That's not necessarily a bargain. Tonight we'll cook ourselves in the camper. It's cheaper.
Bottom line, everyone has to decide for themselves how they want to handle this information. We have decided for ourselves, we are not coming anymore. The place has lost its charm.

Time out with Rottal feel-good flair
Pure relaxation with a lot of feel-good factor!
Our stay at the Bavaria Village Chalet at Vital Camp Bayerbach was simply wonderful. The chalet is well equipped – modern kitchen, cozy living area with open fireplace, private sauna, large terrace – ideal for a break for two, with family or with friends.
Especially beautiful: The warm indoor thermal pool is fed with real healing water from its own spring – perfect for switching off. In addition, there is the wonderfully quiet location, the friendly team and the great mix of wellness, nature and comfort.
Conclusion: A place to come back – relaxation, enjoyment at Huckenhamer Stadl and Bavarian coziness
