Beautiful location with an incredible ambience.
The food is simply awesome – really at the highest level!
The service was super friendly and professional.
I can recommend the Drahthammer Schlößl 100%, whether wedding, event or simply to enjoy.

Perfect

This hotel is always a safe bet. Every time I pass through Amberg, I stay here. The rooms are large, the dinner at the hotel restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast offers a great variety. It's a pity they closed the internal bar this past year. The hotel also has a large private parking lot.

Better grade of towels and more amenities would be nice. But overall very nice.

No 4 stars

We spent a night including breakfast over New Year's Eve in the Wire Hammer Castle. The Schößl is very nice and was great decorated.Also the New Year's Eve menu and breakfast were delicious.
Our room, which was located in the annexe, however, had nothing to do with a 4 star house.It was more like a storage room.With such a high price very disappointing.

Lovely hotel, great value

Lovely hotel, located a circa 20 minute walk from the centre of Amberg. Very comfortable, with friendly staff and good breakfast. Also, tremendous value.
