Top recommendation for a city trip to Bamberg.

The hotel is absolutely perfect for city tours. Great location/incredibly nice staff that fulfills every wish. The rooms are clean and well-furnished.
But what impressed us the most was the breakfast. There is nothing that was missing!! Simply perfect.

Remarkably good hotel in the center of Bamberg

We stayed with friends for 2 nights at the very centrally located Hotel Europa and found very clean and neat rooms. The whole staff is very friendly and accommodating. In the morning we were welcomed with an exceedingly sumptuous breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Such a large selection is very rare. Even the dinner in the in-house restaurant Kleehof impressed us with its fresh cuisine. We will definitely come back.

Absolute plus: a wonderful breakfast buffet!

The Hotel Europa is very conveniently located on the edge of Bamberg's old town, which is within walking distance. The rooms are functional, slightly modernized in a pleasant way. Everything you need is there, and it is cleanly cleaned. Prices for bed and breakfast are remarkably low.
Admittedly: There are also small disadvantages. So the fan in the toilet of the room is monstrously loud, unfortunately it cannot be switched on and off separately. On our arrival it was really cold in the room too. No wonder. The radiators were turned to zero and the window tilted. Luckily we arrived in the afternoon. So the room could warm up comfortably until we were there again in the evening.
The underground car park is also accessible via a backyard. That was no problem for us because we travelled with light luggage. However, for the handicapped or the heavily loaded, this should look different.
An absolute plus is the wonderful breakfast buffet: A very nice lady takes care of it personally and leaves nothing to be desired. Homemade fine salads with fish, meat and vegetables are lovingly presented. That's way above the usual standard!

Perfect for visiting the old town

A beautiful, cozy hotel with a warm Mood! Immediately upon arrival we were already greeted so friendly that you felt right at home and very welcome and that ran through the entire stay. All the staff, in the hotel as well as in the associated restaurant, were mega friendly, accommodating and endeavouring to make it every right.
Of particular note is the breakfast buffet, which offers a selection I have not experienced even in higher-priced hotels! Especially the many homemade treats (cream cheese rolls, antipasti, salads, homemade jams, etc.) and homemade pastries are worth mentioning here.
Room and hotel are very clean and well maintained. The location on the edge of the city center (about 5 minutes walk from the train station) is perfect for exploring the old town, which can be reached in a few steps.
All in all we (6 head girlfriends group) had an all-round successful stay. We'll be back!
